Quaglia 'optimistic' about Juve move Thursday 26 August, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Napoli striker Fabio Quagliarella is 'very optimistic' about a prospective move to Juventus, according to his agent Beppe Bozzo.

Earlier this evening, Sky Italia reported that Juventus have agreed to loan the Italy international for €4.5m with a view to a permanent transfer next summer worth €12.5m.

When asked to comment on the speculation, Bozzo said: “I am always optimistic.

“I have positive feelings on a good outcome in this deal.”

Juventus would like to sign a striker before the end of the transfer window.

Once Diego was sold to Wolfsburg, Beppe Marotta made a bid for Udinese's Antonio Di Natale only for the Capocannoniere to personally turn it down

even though officially this will be a loan, lets not kid ourselves, we aren't giving napoli 5 million dollars for the use of quagliarella for one year and then giving him back...

What's the problem with loaning players from mediocre teams? Big teams always buy players from mediocre teams and loaning is even better because we can send them back if they fail in a bigger team.

Is this correct, if we get him on loan, we pay 4.5 mill for him, then next summer if we want to keep him, we have to pay another 10.5 mill on top of the 4.5 mill we already paid for him? so 15 million in total?
