Selling is always harder than buying.
Juventus cannot generate EPL income because Italy is not as wealthy as England.
You cannot charge the same for tickets, jerseys and TV rights.
But we have to compete with them for the same players, offering tittle/glory opportunities but also EPL level salaries and EPL level transfer fees.
Unfortunately this is how it is.
So we have to be creative. Pre Calcio poli under cunning Moggi we were delivering miracles and ppl are taking this for granted.
Our philosophy and managerial strategy is not only a choice but also a necessity.
We have to sell some players and we have loan, trade, or buy with with rates.
Paratici has learned a few things from Beppe and has shown some positive creativity.
But he is also clueless at selling players.
You need to convince the player and his manager that this is the right step for his career and also the 3rd party that this player is what they need.
This is not an easy task and if fans choose to ignore it, or downplay it, the transfer director cannot afford this luxury.
Juventus and Italian clubs up untill now have had the extra handicap of paying 100% of the declared salaries to taxes. This year we had the opportunity to remedy that and plan a new strategy for the future. Swapping players now creates income by paying less taxes. This explains some of our strange decisions.
But alas, mistakes were made, some of them grave too.
Esp the Kean/Raiola mishap pen, we ought to know to whom we are dealing with and take proper action.
Paratici seems smart enough to learn from his mistakes and he made some massive ones this year.
Normally at this level a pro manager should be hired, as we cannot afford to train trainees over our competitiveness, but this is the way AA have chosen for us.
And we can only hope that Paratici has learned from his mistakes and will do smth to improve them.
It is imperative to learn how to sell, not new and promising material only, but old and used up too.
He needs to work for it and prepare it, as much and more those free CM transfers.

Judging by names, Marotta had a better Mercato then Paratici this summer.

But time will tell.
They have catching up to do and Im not so sure that they will prove to be a huge jump in quality.
Sanchez is risky AF
Icardi-Lukaku switch is ok but nothing incredible
Godin will give them a huge boost and was free so bravo on that one

De Ligt-Brightest defender out there
Higuain-Added quality
Rabiot-added quality
Ramsey-added quality

Cancelo is the one black mark on this mercato for me. I think our team will be miles ahead of last years towards december.
The one x factor is which coach gives the team that huge jump in quality? Conte I think could do it but Sarri also has the capabilities to do it as well. Remember Sarri just took Contes team from 7th to 3 and won Europa. But Conte typically dominates his first season

Such an idiot for buying 3 CBs. Clueless. Him and that other guy Nedved obviously are just trolls. Terminate contracts and hire people with more "pedigree".
3? Who am i missing?

Also keep in mind, Rugani would be long gone if a team handed over the money. It's a lucky coincidence that he's still here, not masterful planning.

And Calma.
