He can do lots of things on the pitch. CMs like this are rare and you can't discard them.

He can run, he can actually look up as he dribbles. He can play one touch. He gets in excellent positions without the ball. He can hit forward passes. He can dribble in tight spots.

Yes physically he's a bit weak and his shot is a bit weak.

The rest is a rare profile.
So a jabroni that can run and dribble a bit

Rare profile indeed

Mixed game from him. Frustrating at times, but several times he took the ball into his stride and made things happen.
It would have been better if 1 of his 2 great plays resulted in a goal... but they didnt

He probably drives Allegri nuts with his decision making and how often he gives the ball away, especially in his own end

At the end of the day, he is what he is. A young, backup midfielder that is still developing and is going to make mistakes

A loan to another club next season should be such an obvious decision

I feel sorry for him. His heart was clearly there, and he was visible, but he has no talent or skill whatsoever. Grinta alone will only get you so far.

Let's not shit on him...he is young and has played some good football of late. If pogba and fagioli didn't fuck up and get banned, he may have been loaned in H2 to a lower team getting the experience he needs. Instead he is used sporadically, when he needs consistency.

He had a stinker. Terrible, terrible match.

Yet, I don't remember the last time I've seen a player moving so well on the pitch. This MOFO is always in the right place. Once he receives the ball chances are that he'll fuck up, but he's always open and in the right place to receive the ball.

Who is better between miretti and fagioli?
Fagioli... but I want to see Miretti go play a full season elsewhere next year and and reevaluate him

In an ideal world, next year Fagioli is essentially the 5th CM behind Rabiot, McKennie, Locatelli, and what is hopefully our "big" signing in the summer.
