No offense taken curr - I'm aware that most Irish aren't particularly strong readers.

J/K. Got a splash of Irish in the blood, myself.

No, I totally agree with the length comment - I don't read too many long posts either. Once upon a time I was in an English concentration, and sometimes I go off... and surprisingly, I don't think I've written anything about Canna yet.

I'll ignore the first comment. :D

My uncle was in Nevada and he met a woman who said she was Irish. She went on to explain that her great grandfather was from England. That was the only "connection" she had with Ireland. :confused2

That's why I'm Canadian.

Hence the "splash" comment... I would never, not in a million years call myself Irish.
;)

Not for all the gold at the end of your rainbow.

I see. That's fair enough. You have to go waaaay back to find anyone in my family from outside of the west of Ireland.
Yeah, for me, I have a ridiculously mixed European background. My "people" have been in North America for a few generations now though. :)

I'm a Canadian, with a lot of love for Italy.

Having him around should be hugely beneficial for young guys like Ariaudo, and hopefully Criscito. His experience, match preparation, and professional conduct will be a great example for our young D - they really will learn a ton training with him; whatever some people think, the guy is a legend of Italian football, and people who think he offers nothing are blinded by their hatred for this player.
 We have Ciro for that.

We conceded like crazy on the counterattack. Adding a 36-year old hardly known for his pace is retarded.

Well I certainly love Ciro, and he will be an excellent mentor for the young D.

However, the relationship between two peers is different than that between a coach and player. Canna has a history of winning major trophies - something that NONE of our other defenders legitimately have at this point, and that will be useful - that's my opinion. He's better than Legro, better than Mellberg, better than Kenezevic was, is a steadying force in the dressing room, and didn't cost a great deal.

If we're potentially upgrading a couple of other positions on the D (ideally Criscito, and a RB), that should help some of the terrible marking and blown offside traps for a lot of those counter attacks.

so , according to your conversation between Curr and you , i conclude that there are 2 type of Irish , they aren't particularly strong reader like Curr and another type is a strong writer like you , but still Greek Writer still in the best in this forum :mark: :D

 Cannavaro had his reasons to leave unlike young player like Zlatan but i respect Zlatan because he still think that the scudetto that was on his inter shirt was juve scudetto and hes never shy to admit it and Cannavaro never stop defending Juve and surprisly Capello

so Cannavaro hater should keep their boos to Zambrotta who never stop talking shit about Juve. for me Zambrotta, thuram, zlatan(for moving to inter), vieira were the real traitors
Cannavaro talked shits about us during his days on Madrid :faq1:

The one reason I hate him is he didn't keep his own word.If he said 'I wanna leave this club.' I would respect and understand him.But what did he said?He said something shit and leave the club!!

I do not like Ibra,Vieira and zambo.I don't think they are traitor, cuz they said they wanna leave,so we let them go.BUT for sure, cannavaro is a real traitor.

CANNA did not leave the club in the manner Thuran, Zambro, Viear and Ibra did...IT WAS THE CLUB's DECISION TO SELL HIM AND NOT HIS INTENTION TO LEAVE. are u fvckers dumb or what, how many times must that be said for you to finally get it
