If Cannavaro isn't the only reinforcement in defense I don't see where the problem is.Cannavaro and a good RB will do wonders for our defense.

Meh,it's useless arguing over Cannavaro,the pitch and only the pitch will show whether he is still able to play a very good season in Serie A.I'm sure he'll surprise his doubters.

Can't understand why people somehow put all the blame on Canna for those 6 goals Real conceded, it's clearly that he is not the player he used to be but still not as bad as some of you make him..

and we all know that it's Canna or no one because Secco won't buy any WC CB at least this year, and IMO a RB is more needed.

I'm sure about something else. Even if Cannavaro play as great as he did in 2006, you'll hear some members here saying: "Oh my god, he's shit, he didn't stop that cross". What i wanna say is that no matter what he does, some will do nothing else but look for his mistakes.
On the other side, it will be just as bad when some will only see the positives.

In other words, the famous Vinman-Amaurisimo view on Ranieri. One will talk only about the bad, the other one only about the good.

If that's the case/theory, that it wasn't Cannavaro vs Barcelona but Madrid then there's no need to ever criticize a player because it'll always be a team vs team, no player should be judged.

Actually Boz it is ok. Ramos puts in good strong displays week in week out for Real. Cannavaro puts in an average display against every semi decent team Real play against. He's solid against the likes of Almeria and Racing, i'll give you that. But against the Liverpool's, Barca's and Juve's of the world.....

I don't know where you get the idea that i hate Cannavaro. I don't, i'm indifferent to him, really don't care if he does good or bad. And i know you're going to play the "oh but you're biased against Real card". i'm not actually, because i rate Pepe as one of the top centerbacks in Europe and Ramos as one of the most complete fullbacks in Europe, last time i checked, the pair were playing for Real Madrid.

No one is putting the blame on Cannavaro. We focused on him because he's the player OUR TEAM are signing, no? He's the one that will be playing for us next season no?

but Ramos has looked terrible in more than one game this year,he has been left badly exposed by his midfield in dozens of games,as has the whole Real backline. but when you are picking faults it is very easy to single out one player for criticism

but the whole defense was terrible,so......our forwards have struggled for goals this season but if we are to look at del piero we can slag him off as much as we want as he is the only player that we are looking at that has not scored? forget that the midfield is failing to supply the forward lne, forget that the backline is porous, we are simply looking at one player and he is not winning us every game
