1) sell tiago for 5 million
2) poulson for 4 million (No I dont want to give him another chance)
3) trezeguet for 12 million

thats 20 million

sign

1) diego 25 million

2) Sign zapata 8 million

3) 10 million + iaquinta for cassano

that way we would have only spent 23 million

Heck we spent that much alone on amauri
And lets say that Poulsen and Tiago like their wages in Juve and they don't want to leave.
Also, Sampdoria don't even wanna hear about your offer. They want either 20m cash or 12m+Giovinco.

This is not FM.

Yeah, but at the same time you don't buy a 40 year old player who seems to be going toward the sour part of his career and expect him to be an every game starter. I'm not saying go buy Zapata, but expecting Cannavaro to make any big difference is a bit nutty.
I never had any expectation on Cannavaro making the difference nor to being brought as a starter. My point was when strengthening defences it is usually done in transitions, one defender stays and a new one is purchaced. When we got relegated to B we lost BOTH our central defenders at the same time and the outcome of that has been haunting us ever since.

I am intrigued to know how much is much better.
You remember those things called counter attacks? An upgrade at right back would definitely help stop those pesky things.

It probably wouldn't mean much against teams that are way more talented than Juve, except in the CL. Juventus would definitely perform better against the teams they should beat, like the Cagliaris and Genoas. Beating those teams generally gets you more points, which might get you guys closer to Inter.

I'm not saying a new right back will win you guys a Serie A, but it's obvious the wing backs are far worse than what Juve have in the center. The center backs are constantly put under pressure and that will still happen with Cannavaro back there or John Terry if Juve doesn't upgrade it's worst position on the pitch.

And therein lies the key.

I predict Cannavaro to still have one good Serie A season left in him.
No, there's no key about it at all. Do you understand what you just said?

Do not come here and tell me Canna is better than the other players around him. It's insane.
