Finally I was able to install compiz/xgl on my Ubuntu box. It looks just fucking amazing guys! I still think there are other things that should be done to make it look cooler, but I just love the Cube and the Wobbly stuff, plus the transperency it offers.


Oh and I gave you a sneak preview of a certain WV terrorist, for those who didn't have the privelage:D

Any tips?

More desktops to come:)

    Different things are good for different purposes. Guis are good for desktop applications, the command shell is useful for scripting, and xgl is useful for..? Yes, exactly. :D

    Seriously it is just curiosity that got me to check it out to be honest, it is far from perfect, but I can see it as a part of the future of Linux GUI's. It also gave a sense of achievment since I am a noob.
