polish 2nd round is extremely close, according to exit polls the two candidates are within the margin of error (+/-2%) of exit polls. i read a hungarian article quoting multiple pollsters, all measured a slight advantage for the pro eu candidate
They are both pro eu. It's just a fake narrative two present them as two opposing camps.

dunno this account, but the information is legit. spöttle, a german native, dual citizen, ex bundeswehr, who speaks pretty good hungarian too, used to be a regular in local radios and tv shows. he openly supports russia in their illegal invasion. news don't surprise anyone

btw he's a well known conspiracy theorist, so-called journalist, self proclaimed security policy expert, and long time boyfriend of a cute little chick i know. they said they met after the girl turned 18, no comment on that lol

context: fidesz (hungarian governing party) banned pride (and basically any gathering that they consider harmful) using child protection as an alibi. so it became the biggest proud event ever in this country

also context: people are not pro pride suddenly. people are just fed up with fidesz telling them what to do. this wasn't a pro pride event for many, but an anti fidesz one. i was out of the country so i couldn't show up, but plenty of straight friends attended just to support free speech and free assembly.

a huge fuck you to orbán. chapeau

Is there any update on this? Or it's just accepted as status quo thing over there?
two news only:
- spöttle was called by one of the main left leaning news portals, and he said that he doesn't even want to comment such bullshit (he used a stronger word)
- spöttle is hired by an alt right portal (heavily supported by the government of course), and their editor in chief said that he won't change his professional relationship with spöttle

so as you said, we move on. this country is mostly immune to news about russian influence. will happen in murica too lol

btw here's a drone shot of the anti orbán demonstration disguised as pride. that's a proper crowd. i stopped believing pollsters, they always underestimate fidesz, just for the record: a big independent institute measures an 11 point lead for the biggest upcoming opposition party

That reminds me of the Three Seas Initiative. I like this project because it would enable the involved countries to finally escape German and Russian dominance in Europe. All the previous attempts to unite were successfully destroyed by Germany who obviously doesn't want to lose its dominance over the continent through EU. However, US is more than capable to protect this project so fingers crossed.
Have you ever wondered why Germany has been the most successful European country, especially in the economy, among European countries?
The best and most successful European companies are in Germany, which have the ability to compete globally with American companies.
This has been the genius and order that has been established in Germany since 1933, and even with the departure of that system, its effects still remain on Germany, having discipline, being punctual, and overall, as a result, being a leader in all industries among European countries. At the same time, Germany made a huge progress in engineering, architecture and made a great leap in modern medicine and military. The effects of those developments still linger on German society, which is why they are a hub for technology in the world.Small European countries can never escape German domination because what Germany has achieved is the result of effort and discipline that was established centuries ago.

Excuse my ignorance but what's the difference between "brand finance" and "most valuable brand"?

Where to begin :).

Obviously Germany is a successful country and there are many factors which contributed to that. Since you mentioned history, Germany is the strongest European country now, but it hasn't always been like that. It's enough to mention the British Empire.

Germany has the biggest population in Europe and their country has been rich in natural resources which gave them the advantage. However, it's not like they are a few distances ahead of the rest. Combined economy of the two following countries, France and Italy is already much bigger than Germany alone, not to mention the rest of the continent. Plus, there are plenty of countries where GDP per capita is much higher than in Germany.

Germany is dominant in Europe mainly due to their aggressive nature. They have always been an attacking country, be it with Hitler, Bismarck or as Prussia.

Also, since you posted this graphic with German companies, I can't help but mention that majority of these were Hitler's tools and they benefited from slavery work of people imprisoned in concentration camps, stealing Jewish property and their original owners were members of NSDAP (Hitler's political party).

West Germany has also benefited from the European Recovery Program.

Thanks for your contribution
Throughout history, dynasties and individuals have ruled, for example, Genghis Khan, who conquered all the lands under his rule through war.
Hitler also wanted to expand his territory like any monarch in the history. The more I learn about Нitler character, the more I like him. he was national socialist although the system he implemented was based on racism, nationalism, and German (Aryan) supremacy.
As I understand it, Nazism allowed private property, but subordinated to the state. I think that was the reason for the success of those companie.
Hitler should not be explicitly taught as a bad person. You can say the things that are good from him, and say that they’re good. But also must say the things that are bad and say they’re bad. That's my opinion. The media narrative about him is mostly lies.(often for political purposes)
As a consumer of all things electronics, health products, etc., I can say that German companies are very well-known, and people in my country clearly have a special interest in buying Japanese and German brands. Germany is known because of their advance in technology. It goes without saying that cosmetics and some hygiene items, such as sunscreens or anti-blemish creams, are mostly French or Italian.
Anyway, thank you for the valuable information you shared.

as a hungarian, it pains me to see that we've came this far. but denmark is right. orbán (and fico) has been russia's trojan horse within the eu for years, it must not be tolerated, period.

More like Polak-Swede-Serb probably.
Same about many Americans, They share the same genetic and haplogroup pattern as Polish, or Serbian, or from some part of Scandinavia and I think it's becuse your anccesrors fled to America during the German invasion.
