+600k now, transylvania doing their thing :touched:

Yeah it's over . We have a silent minority of people that don't vote , but when the direction of the country is on the line they come out swinging .
It's their victory in the end.
Almost 65% turn out which translets to like 75% actually because of all of the people that left the country but are still on the election lists.
We also have to thank our Hungarian minority for voting 91% with Nicusor Dan. Their contribution is invaluable in these times.

Seems to be the case for most diaspora. Want to live in a modern democracy elsewhere with all the amenities that come with it, but want their home country to have the “good, old” values.
Great point!
I think they are also looking at us with envy since they used to work in EU and they would return home and brag about their euros , their fancy cars , clothes etc., but since our income has increased greatly , it means nothing to us anymore. Now with a medium education and some skills you can easily make between 1000 and 2000 euros a month , a thing that was unheard off almost 10 years ago.
The only difference is that I live "home" and they don't .
It's sad to see this thing because some of them have 5+ or 10+ years of leaving abroad and they still haven't integrated in their communities.

How the fuck could any self-respecting Pole who is worth their salt vote for anyone who peddles even the tiniest bit of pro-Russian nonsense? I thought one of the core tenets of being a Pole was despising all things Russki??

when tiktok views don't translate into irl presence :hihi:

As I said . Russian and Chinese bots don't do rally meetings .
The only way convince someone to go out from that political side is free transportation , free meals and some money in the pocket from the said political party.

polish 2nd round is extremely close, according to exit polls the two candidates are within the margin of error (+/-2%) of exit polls. i read a hungarian article quoting multiple pollsters, all measured a slight advantage for the pro eu candidate
