Seems to be the case for most diaspora. Want to live in a modern democracy elsewhere with all the amenities that come with it, but want their home country to have the “good, old” values.

I think they are also looking at us with envy since they used to work in EU and they would return home and brag about their euros , their fancy cars , clothes etc., but since our income has increased greatly , it means nothing to us anymore. Now with a medium education and some skills you can easily make between 1000 and 2000 euros a month , a thing that was unheard off almost 10 years ago.
The only difference is that I live "home" and they don't .
It's sad to see this thing because some of them have 5+ or 10+ years of leaving abroad and they still haven't integrated in their communities.
