@kappa96 @Alin who the fuck is this calin georgescu and why you guys also vote for a russian asset lol
People literally been so fed up with the previous president Iohannis (incompetent, non patriot, ignorant, another EU and US puppet among many other things that can be said about him) and the government coalition in charge that have pushed forward again some of the most incompetent and corrupt politicians so much so that they ended up just prompting many voters to go for the extreme opposite due to lack of decent alternatives…

Nonetheless there also many gullible people that are ready to believe just about anything they see on the internet and are easily fooled by a poetic slash religious speech mixed with patriotism that promises all kinds of reforms which resonate with many categories of activists and conspiracy theorists.

thanks for the input guys, confirms what i've collected from local portals and twitter

how are we supposed to recognize these people? i mean what are the common traits of eu/us puppets?
I’d say the first signs would be the lack of patriotism and the use of political tactics meant to create confusion and divide the population apart(because that is how foreign powers can maintain control), then depending on the crisis or situation at hand they usually tend to only do as they are told via foreign intervention, following instructions imposed to them without taking into consideration the opinions of the people that actually voted for them and what the country actually needs, nevermind doing nothing about negotiating a better solution to protect any of our national interests.

Probably a good example here would be the absurd taxing and raids of local businesses and farmers while at the same time facilitating tax heavens for multinational corporations and promoting foreign imports, as well as having very little say when allowing the country to be dragged and pick sides into international conflicts that are not really ours to deal with.

What the fuck is going on in these countries to vote for these people? I know Murica has a lot of retards, but I wasn’t expecting multi-party nations to so easily become one party fascist states.

It seems like the entire world is fucked.

populism's rise is strictly tied with post-truth (thanks trump) and russian misinformation campaigns

you can run circles around every election and analyze to oblivion how the left fucked it, how people are tired of the woke bullshit and it's all true, but the public response is simply idiotic. some of these people shouldn't be in politics as their policies offer zero benefits for the public, just serve russian and selfish interests

love russia? it's fine, it's a beautiful country with a rich cultural history, anyone should just feel free to move the fuck there. they need loyal cannon fodders anyway

anyway, winning an election by solely campaigning on tiktok, you can't make this shit up lol. i hope romania wakes up for the 2nd round

This dude got elected to the European Parliament.

His main contributions to society till then was camping outside SpaceX/Twitter to hug Elon and freeriding in different countries. It doesn't take much to win elections these days it seems.

South Korea just declared martial law because of North Korean sympathizers in government. Seems like the entire world is now dealing with the Russian scum.

It looks like we're trending toward WWIII.

Yesterday the SK opposition democratic party (liberals) moved to impeach various cabinet members and prosecutors for failing to investigate Yoon's wife for white collar crimes. Today Yoon calls martial law citing "anti-state" and "communist" forces. Obviously a desperate move to block parliament made by a deeply unpopular president.

reports in hungarian media confirm this. no surprise as they used the same journal as their reference lol. they report that president has been trying to govern against the opposition which has the parliamentary majority, they've been vetoing each others' bills. assembly already moved to revoke martial law (which they have the right to do so): https://www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20241204050005

This is the kind of shit third world democracies routinely pull.
