And look at all the retards who are liking this tweet :sergio:
It's only fraud when it's not yours.

That said, hats off to Romania. :hi: I didn't know they had that in them. I'm impressed.

It's one thing to whine like a little b*tch about election fraud because you lost and have no evidence.

But when you have blatant election fraud evidence, suddenly it's time to blame Soros-funded Marxists without evidence once again.

This is the most baller, pro-democracy news I may have heard all year. Brad Parscale caught again.

Would like to read the perspective on all of this from Romanians @kappa96 @Alin
Not much to add tbh, it’s well known that there’s a very corrupt system in place over here that takes directives from different foreign ‘influences’, at the same time some others are taking the opportunity by doing everything towards clinging to power just that bit longer(reasons are multiple and subject to speculations), while at the same time the alternatives, majority of it at least, are just as worst, mainly due to suspect backgrounds and lacking clarity as to who is actually backing them… i guess this instability and the fact it ultimately resulted in prolonging the current president’s mandate during this ‘crisis’ sure benefits someone, but definitely not the romanians.

What’s the general public reaction to all of this, do people believe it, especially the people who voted for him?

    The perspective is simple.
This Georgescu guy is a Russian puppet , backed with probably Russian money (the guy declared 0 funds on his presedential campaign ).

So based on that as it's seemed that he was helped by tick tock , through probably tens of millions of euros(from a foreign country , probably Russia ) and since our intelligence officers tracked down some sleeper tick tock accounts , 700 during the year prior and 25 000(activated in the last month) before our first round of presidential elections , that all made unsigned political campaign for Georgescu , our Constitutional Court canceled the first election term for president for "foreign state collusion" and "illegal political campaign by one candidate(not marking spots or tick tock endorments as paid political campaign)"(unnamed but it refers to Georgescu).
Now we are going to have 2 terms to elect our president again in March or April .

My personal opinion is that we dodged the Russian bullet, for now.

PS also Georgescu is going to be denied running for office because he is a Legionare apologist , a Romanian former nazi party before the start of the second World War , an field Marshall Antonescu apologist which is prosecutable in my country , EU contester( which is written in the constitution) and a no political party proponent that goes against democracy .

He managed to slip through because no one contested his running before the first term and now if he isn't jailed or flees by the next elctions , he isn't going to get away with it this time.

Basically majority that supports the left or the ultranationalists in general claim it is all a scam made so that they don’t ascend to power, whereas those that voted with the right say it was necessary to cancel the elections and are just as happy that not only Georgescu seems to be ousted but also the other candidate Lasconi which wasn’t popular among them either and will also likely not have as many chances to win now.

I hope that the EU will ban TikTok. Been suspecting them of pushing woke/trans ideology and there’s a lot of prove with Russia now aswel. Don’t understand why we’d accept Chinese made algorithms to dictate the minds of many people.

There are parallels of course with X, but a different demography is using X and there’s more genuine news.

For better or worse twitter and Facebook is regulated over here , to some extent , but our government never bothered to do this to tick tock and only now since this came out we have found out that tick tock has over 9 million Romanian users . That's how those 25000 bot accounts managed to influence so many people in such a short amount of time.

From my understanding our government and the EU commission demanded tick tock to realse information about georgescu backing immediately .

At this moment of time an large ongoing investigation is being carried out to find and questions all these "0" georgescu sources of political campaign spending.

For now they retained on person(crypto bro) with ties to a South African , that has ties to an Armenian , of whom both had some associates that recently died (don't know if it has any relation to our election).

Some underground crime people that supported georgescu have fled the country , with georgescu saying that if he becomes president he is going to pardon them.

Also a manhunt is carried out against legionaire and field Marshall Antonescu endorsers, a bit late since this situation came about because our authorities turned a blind eye against the phenomenon for years .
(Antonescu was the one that sided with Hitler , that sent Jewish and Roma population to death camps in 41' or 42').

not a confirmed source but this guy has been accurate so far. romania should remain very careful and open about russian influence. mercenaries rarely act on their own so it looks like far right politicians aren't afraid of using guns which is unacceptable in europe.

There’s a campaign from the government here to prepare for ‘war’. I think in Scandinavian countries this was already a thing

They’re basically asking civilians to have a emergency package ready to survive for 72h in case of emergency. A emergency would be a cyber attack, not having electricity/water for several days

Any Tuzzers here who prepped something?

Burn all of it imo. Go back to isolated forums- the old internet was far better and used far more healthily back when it wasn't so well organised.

As for some platforms pushing an ideology and not others come on man. You must know that's absolute nonsense. Twitter is no more reliable than anywhere else.

I prepped with two week's food in the house when Covid broke into Italy and France. Glad I did, even if it proved not entirely necessary.

    Fully agree with this.

When it comes to the internet, small is usually better than big. Niche online communities are more meaningful and less harmful (in terms of both content and addictive properties) than massive social platforms.

I strongly encourage anyone to stop using TikTok/Facebook/X/etc. They're all full of ads and competing for your attention.

Most people don’t need to use social media. If you really need to use it — e.g., for professional purposes — use it on a web browser on your laptop, and spend at most an hour a week logged in, as that’s enough for 99% of legitimate uses. There are better ways to be entertained, find news, and connect with people.
