The thing is, most of the people here like to rationalize the situation because it's a lot more convenient. I mean, we're already out of the Europa League, we might as well justify a shit Europa League Campaign with saying that it would be better for us in Serie A.

The bottom line is we should have done better in the Europa League, but we fucked up. It's as simple as that. We tried our best and we failed, and now we should face the music and focus all our energy in having a great season in Serie A.

We shouldn't be too harsh on them. Imagine you are a middle class English guy. It's cold, it rains all the time, the food tastes like shit. The one thing that can make you a little less miserable is football.
