What a shit start. I really want to see Melo-Aquilani starting.
You can see that in serie A. In Europe the choice in CM will always be two of Sissoko, Melo and Marchisio while in attack it will always be two of Del Piero, Iaquinta and Amauri.
At least in the group stages that will be the case.

6 matches in 19 days, starting Thursday vs. Lech. After that we'll face Udinese, Palermo (mid-week), Cagliari, Man City and finaly Merda on October 3rd.

La Repubblica reports that Delneri will try to use a system that will keep our squad fresh, somehow. Vs. Lech it'll be like that:

Storari; Grygera, Legro, Chiellini/Bonucci, DC; Momo, Melo/Claudio, Krasic, Lanza; Iaq, Ale.

I also read somewhere that he may try 4-3-3 with DP as a classic 10, Behind the forwards, cause he lack the pace to play on the wing...that can't be good

How can DP stay fit if he played like 2-3 times a week.. I already miss Gio

Del Piero has to play no? Unless Lanza plays, I wouldn't mind playing him up forward instead Alex needs to rest.
Is the game tonight?
