We are conceding too much I'm afraid. Maybe an aggressive Sissoko with Melo pushing upfront more will balance things out?

What's more dangerous is not scoring goals and I don't see much going on behind the strikers with a Melo - Sissoko partnership. Sissoko hasn't shown good form for a long time now plus (this goes to the people hating on Melo for sunday) Sissoko loses the ball even more then Melo and that adds another danger for our defence. Melo's destroying ability is more then good enough and I think a Melo - Aquilani partnership is our best option right now in terms of attacking/defensive balance.

The guy used to be really great to watch with some of the tackles he was making. He was tidy, making great tackles and passing it off to Marchisio/Zanetti quickly. I don't know what's going on with him right now but he is my last choice for CM at the moment.

We are playing an unknown Polish team, going for a negative minded Melo-Sissoko midfield seems quite wasteful - we should be able to put the knife to this team and gain some badly needed confidence. At the same time the team should never be complacent against any opponent.

I think Zanetti was covering his mistakes when he first came here. It's easy to play with Cristiano Zanetti...I really loved this player. He wasn't complicating things and it was a joy to watch him.

Nevertheless, I see us winning this game comfortably.
