We are pretty shit without KDB and Hazard.

We are pretty decent with them.

who would’ve thought you are talking about Thorgen instead of Eden.

KDB is straight up ridiculous tho, best player in the world imo

I think individual brilliance will decide this tournament. This is why I think Italy won't win it. They are a well rounded team but they lack that x factor like an Mbappe, Ronaldo or De Bruyne.

France are going to be too hard to stop imo. They are pretty much like a 90s Serie A team with a couple of match winners upfront.

I'll be surprised if they don't win this Euro.

It's strange.

I have the exact opposite feeling. Belgium and France in particular have the biggest stars. But Italy feel so much more solid as a team. Somehow I think they can go all the way even with Insigne instead of Mbappe or Locatelli instead of KDB.

Trust me if England were in Italys position right now they'd have an open top bus parade, MBE's awarded to the entire squad and everyone would be banging on how its coming home. Such a bunch of hypocrites. What's funnier is how Vieira and neville are 2 failed coaches chatting utter shit. Someone remind neville how he was part of hodgsons staff when Iceland knocked England out.
How you can live every day of your life surrounded by that, I have no idea.

:agree: In my opinion having a competent, functioning system with physically fit players will take you a lot further on an international level than just having star players. Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems a lot more common these days to see "weaker" or "smaller" nations pulling off upsets or advancing to later stages of big tournaments than it used to be.

Mancini has to start rotating though or this Italy will burn out the same as 2012 Italy did. Lippi's 2006 squad used almost every guy they bought to the tournament except the reserve gk

I actually love this evolution.

Apart from Barella there's not really a single Italian player I particularly like watching. But the way they move as a team, their passing game, the ease with which they find each other.. and it's not meaningless tiki taka, they try to find depth in their game as soon as possible. I've enjoyed every second I've seen them play.

Belgium and France have their moments of class, but mostly they're very uninspired. I thought their games were boring as hell.

Italy have a good vibe around their team and players sacrifice themselves a lot with hardwork. But I'm not sure it'd be enough against France, they have too much quality and fire power. It'd be difficult

I don't think you can keep playing this poorly and win.

I'm sure Pogba will be surprised when he learns Italy's midfielders actually try to take the ball away from him.

I can see Italy being the better team but simply running into unavoidable 100m sprinter counters and lose.

France weren't brilliant in the 2018 world cup in my opinion, but by having the best squad they still strolled through the competition.

Remains to be seen, Pogba could struggle but they also have Kante
