Definitely beats the English ass fountain.

Dude could live in that trophy.

Seven has some serious hate for the dude, only matched maybe by the hate he has for nice guys/Tifoso Lou.

A fraction of that deserved. Some of that misplaced.

He is the best that England has had in a long time. But that's a low bar overall.

I'm a little surprised people really think Southgate would gamble the outcome of the first national title in 55 years, and the highlight of his professional career, to make a political statement about race.

Even if you think of Southgate as woke-as-feck -- of which I only see him adopting reluctantly after the convincing by his players -- that he would intentionally sell out his own instincts and will to win just to roll the dice for a woke crowd. A crowd who would either crucify him if they lost and celebrate multicultural England if they won. IMO, he would have far more to lose than to win with that sentiment.

If you believe that's what motivated Southgate's choices, you must have UFO aliens living in your toilets.

People and their conspiracy theories have no respect for Occam's Razor.
the only logical conclusion we can make in this case is that Igor is really Gareth Southgate. it’s the only thing that makes sense

Wow you can really sense the bitterness over here in the UK. Not a single "congratulations" from anyone. People have been really sour about the whole thing, all they seem to have to say is that we were the ones who "cheated" (ironic). I've even seen some comments on social media suggesting that Chiellini may have had some "racist motivation" behind pulling Saka's shirt . These people will never get over it

So how quickly do you think that the commentators will forget this tournament and think the next time Italy plays non-defensively it will be for the first time ever? During every tournament it's just embarrassing to listen to. Has Italy not played in a major tournament since 1982?

This obviously makes no sense at all.

Especially not because Southgate refused to include those very same players during the rest of the tournament. He set them up to fail.
It doesn't make much sense. But you don't need to claim a racial equality agenda to explain it when basically going full Guardiola -- i.e., believing your own nonsense -- will suffice.

Heck, we saw that in the Spain semifinal with Enrique's starting lineup.

Official team of the tournament. The one posted yesterday was fake.

Who are you talking about, people on the street, social media? These are the same people booing their own players, they are spastics. I also think you are falling for some classic trolling.

The analysts and journalists have unanimously accepted that the best team won the tournament.

What JJ said.

Basically England losing on PKs in the final flipped on the floodlights, making all the cockroaches come out and scatter.

With or without ass flares and choad Jenga beer sundaes.

Combination of people I know and social media. I think the sudden shift in mood from overly-optimistic to heartbreak was too much for some of these people. This country hadn't been so united as it was during the days building up to the match

Yeah there are a lot of upset people but I did think to myself before the game, seeing the massive hype and expectation, that there could be a massive fallout from this.
