The penalty awarded to Ireland was a total joke, but Bosnia lost the match all by themselves, tbh. Awful defending on the 2nd goal, and with players like Pjanic and Dzeko you should be able to score more than one goal over 180 mins. Still sad on behalf of a couple Bosnian friends of mine though.

All those former Yugo are mental. I thought Slovenia was a nice mountainous country with pine forests and lakes, then I remembered Bostjan Cesar.

They always struck me as more "Western" European, almost more Austrian than Balkan lol. Even their footballers have less surnames ending in "ić" than their more southerly and easterly neighbours.

It's because a lot of their players were born in Bosnia or Croatia or their families originate from there.

Also, Slovenia isn't liked on the Balkans because they had almost no war in the 90's and like you said they're more "Western".

Eriksen sucked. And yeah first goal was clever and second goal is defenitely one of the best Ibra has scored for the NT, exceptional swerve to the shot.
