Well that's kind of what I meant, people in English speaking countries generally don't need to learn another language but it's important for a lot of people in non-english speaking countries.

Well yeah but I'm not fluent, if I have a conversation with someone I'll be able to understand like 90% of what they say and converse with them in Italian quite well but if I watch Italian news I'll be lucky to understand half.
