Why are people surprised about Poland'd result? They haven't won a single euro match in their history. Have they?
They have great players now and they are playing home, one of their best chances to make a difference, i m sure that they will do better, i was thinking that they could challenge the Russians for the top stop. (yeah, despite what they did to Italy)
Greece made some major subs/half-time adjustments that almost turned the whole thing around. I hate their team, but they should be commended.
the actual switch was in their minds imo, when the Greeks are feeling safe, they underperform, at desperate times, they overperform. They were arrogant enough to consider all the teams in this stage, as easy opponents.
It was a certainty that they wouldnt show up until it was over, but after being 1-0 down and get a questionable red card, to the home team, that triggered their pride and caused the come back.
