That's the most stupid way to sort teams and increases the chances of game fixing.
It is, but you just know Spain won't play 2:2 with Croatia. They know that they will beat Croatia anyway and they won't risk a controversy. In case Italy and Croatia play 1:1 (which is a possibility), Spain won't fix it. Croatia would like to fix it, but Spain won't and they'll play to win, which they eventually will. Even if they don't win, it's gonna be 0:0 or 1:1, definitely not a high scoring draw.

I don't mean this specific tournament, to sort teams like that is idiotic in general because it heavily increases the chances of the teams playing for certain results which would suit them both.

Yeah, this tourney has been crap so far. Everyone playing like cowards. People are like... "Not in Africa, must be good football".

The tournament has been quite ok so far; the games at the World Cup in 2010 weren't great either. Football, in general, has greatly deteriorated.

That's what happens when your so called best players in the world are chokers for their respective national teams. Messi, Ronaldo, Robben, etc... Ronaldo in particular seems to be more concerned/worried about changing his hairstyle during HT rather than actually helping his country win a game.

I actually have really enjoyed these Euro match-ups.

I think we've seen some good football, especially the Italy v Spain game.

In a strange way, I preferred the Euro when nobody gave a rat's ass in the U.S. and I had to pay for special satellite feed coverage from Europe.

Now that I have US ESPN ass mongers announcing it, it's not nearly as entertaining.

Bring back Univision and Telemundo coverage, and fuck ESPN!

Calm down. Marchisio has been head and shoulders above all those this year.
I wasn't talking about performances this season, or else i wouldn't have included someone like Cesc who had a poor season. I was talking about ability, and performances over the past few years, i only mentioned midfielders that are clearly better than Marchisio

Marchisio was so much better than Xavi. And then afterwards, instead of being a tiny bit gracious, he starts complaining about the pitch. What a loser and you adore this guy .

I don't adore his attitude one bit, i've always said he's an arrogant twat. As a footballer he's amazing though.
