It's the same problem with Torres and Spain yesterday. Those cocksuckers get fixated on the only game they know, and it's in England. The rest of the team, they're like, "Who?! I mean, they talk funny. Back to Ronaldo..."
Portugal has had crap center forwards for eons. It's no different today. Honestly, if you asked whom their best center forward is, I'd have to say Vaz Té - for his U21 performances and physique as a real center man. But the guy is playing in Bolton and got loaned out even from there to Hull City.
It's no wonder why we saw Portugal briefly field a 4-6-0 against Turkey. They have too much talent on the wings and such a pit in center not to do that.
And I would normally say that about Quaresma, but he's been weird for the past six months. Part of it is that he's been a mental case about wanting away from Porto. Another part is that he's been horribly inconsistent for the NT.
On a good day, I'd take him every time. But he seems to be taking Psych 101 from Adriano these days. :sick:
As a Portuguese fan, I still have the urge to see the 66-year-old Eusébio jump out of the stands, suit up, and show these ridiculous f*ckers how it's done.
Ricardo's luck will likely run out this Euro and he will be globally exposed for all his flaws that had Pork Chops around the world clamoring for Quim to start in his place. He can be awful at crosses, coming out of goal, and pulling some brain fart moves at times. But so far, they've typically never shown up in international play for him.
