He may well have started to go down a bit early but, even if he hadn't, Inler would still have tripped him.

I think he's a heck of a left back. It's a shame he gets injured so frequently. I think Rafa is playing it safe by bringing Dossena on, Fabio has a "contusion".

i think so too, i've always thought he was underrated. One of the top fullbacks in the league imo.

Definitely. He's not spectacular like Evra, but he's solid and rarely makes mistakes. And he takes a decent free kick.
