ART commentators are soooo biased towards English clubs just cos they have the tv rights to the EPL. Next season the tv rights will be with Showtime, should be funny hearing the commentators trying to convince us how the German and Scottish league are superior to every other league.

not only the epl teams bro, they worship spanish teams too. i remeber juve vs real madrid and juve was leading 2-0 in turin and the bastard kept going on and on about how strong real madrid is and how they can win this game it was sickening bec real madrid were owned that night fair and square. even when ronaldo was sent off he had to disagree like a dumb ass. i hate watching art cos of teh commentators who just love to bash any other teams apart from liga and epl teams.

Considering that the majority are English speaking here so they would most likely listen to English commentators. This does not deny the fact that they should hate on the commentators not the teams.
I know, man. But many times I´ve been listening to Italian commentators live and I didn´t notice any difference between them and the English ones. People like Nabil can´t stand biased Englishmen but they are so biased that they even don´t realise how biased they are. *sigh*

all commentators are biased towards the country they come from, but if you support an italian team, and you here english commentary you feel like shooting yourself. The people that support english teams don't face this problem as many only understand english, so won't know what the commentators are saying.

i dont hate the teams, but it is infuriating watching any game, even milan v bayern and tehy throw in 6 or 7 refferences to "a balmy evening in barcelona when man utd came back from the dead"

makes you wanna put your heead through a tv

i suppose the situation is the same in lots of paces, my GF is from bavaria but canot stand bayern munchen. again the commentators salivate over every aspect of the team abd she just got sick of it
yeah really does my head in, especially at the wc, with all the non- england matches half the time that was meant to be spent talking about the match in hand was about what the england team had for breakfast, and which toilet roll they used to wipe their butts with, or they re show the bloody farse of a wc of 66

 i must admit the english commentary is so annoying like that, they are completely self obsessed, but thats why its so funny. English culture has always been a lot more narrow minded, in english newspapers you hear nothing about italian/spanish/german football but in italy you can read the prem table etc. its just the culture, its not wrong or anything but can be really annoying if you would like a more open minded opinion

Then again, what's wrong with being biased?
Nothing! Let them be biased I say! That's half the fun!

If my team leads Madrid with two goals to nil I would be a fool to let some commentator ruin my evening just because he happens to have an opinion.

Opinions don't matter in football, biased or unbiased, what matters is what happens on the pitch.

One can have opinions, make statements and predictions, attempt to rationalize the game, but as soon as a player hits a screamer from 25 yards, completely out of the blue and completely incidental, all logic flies out the window! This is the beauty of the game, that just when one thinks one has it all figured out, something like this can change events and alter the course of football history.

What's wrong with being biased? Nothing whatsoever.
Because the opinions of gray-haired ass-scratching commentators, at the end of the day, simply do not matter!

Balzaretti is going to knock Liverpool out of the CL with a stunner from 30 yards by the way, in 2009, just after Andy Gray has mumbled something about "Italian divers and disgraceful behavior" :D

And I can't wait!

And now for something completely different:

I would like to say something you will normally never hear, read or smell me say and that is: Forza Bayern!

This sentiment will expire, though, immediately post Milan elimination :D
