Personally, I think those who wish the worst for every other Italian club are quite imbecilic, as they wish to play in leagues that have zero competition. Juventus tradition has been developed in Serie A... one of the top leagues in the world; the top league in the world in the 90's and one of the best in all the other decades. Now Serie A has slipped far behind the EPL and La Liga and with all our Italian competition losing this cannot be good for the rest of the league. Juventus has won Scudetti against some of the top sides in the world in a league which was considered the best... now there is nothing more prestigious than winning a title in a league that is considered the best.

But perhaps you don't understand this notion and would rather play in China or Estonia where we would win every league trophy in our existence and be known as a lesser club than Lyon in the scheme of things... that really is wonderful logic and I can't help but feel you wish the existence of Juventus would be based upon league titles without any respect for the league in which we reside. A league title in a shitty league means nothing for a club such as Juventus. It's essentially like we are settling for the Intertoto instead of the European Cup... what great support by our fans.

People here may hate Inter, Roma and Milan, but these clubs are our rivals and they have bearing over our season. If we beat a formidable Milan side to the Scudetto that is more plaudits on our side and I'm more proud of us for completing such a task. Our domestic competition is what helps us prepare for the European competition... the Champions League... something we all dream of. But if we have shitty sides that can only manage a 7-1 loss against a team like manchester united we will have no decent competition to improve against and will languish against the other sides from better leagues. Therefore a fan of club shouldn't be rooting on the decline of the league their club resides in and rather respect the state of the league because tradition, honor and acheivements in the world's best league is what this club is based upon.
Maybe you have mistaken me for a Azzurri fan. Sorry to disappoint you, but I´m not. I love Juve and it´s natural for me to hate all our direct rivals and I´m sure some fanatical fans will agree with me.

I didn´t ask for a disaster, I wanted Roma to get out, probably one of the highest positioned clubs on my hate list. Honestly, what did you expect from them? They don´t have any CL experience nor European pedigree and if Roma is a club to represent Italy, then I´m totally against it and I wish all the worst to them, yes. Milan and Inter will always be there and with the presence of Juventus these are the clubs I want to defend Calcio´s honour like it always was. You could always count on Milan and Juve to get decent results, these are the clubs that brought Italian flavour to Champions League.

Second thing is that I´m bitter. I´m bitter cause Juve got relegated. Yes, relegated by the same Italian federation and I want them to realise what they have done. The whole Calcio was always against us and last summer they did some drastic measures which I thought never will happen. For what? So that pathetic Italian club that couldn´t win nothing for 20 years could have their paper scudetto and win a league in which half of other clubs are handicaped and Chievo and Roma playing in Champions league.

Sorry, but find somebody else to support Italian clubs in Champions lague cause nobody felt sorry for Juve in the whole Serie B season, so why should I feel sorry for pathetic Roma or Milan?

What a massacre at Old Trafford:shocked:,and somehow i cant help but think that Lady Luck is on Chelsea's side in both the EPL and CL,and that too,big time.

I think tonight Milan will get knocked out too, though i do hope that that a miracle happens and they make it through. From the euphoria of the world cup triumph to the matchfixing debacle,Its been a awful season for Italian sides in the CL,and this will only give those biased english commentators and fans another reason to become 'more' biased.3 english teams in the last 4 is a nightmare. And i think it might be safe to assume that we might end up seeing an all english final as Manchester United are stronger than both Milan and Bayern Munich, and Chelsea-Liverpool make up the other seminfinal.

Oh and yes, atleast we still hold the CL record.Thankyou Daniele De Rossi:D
so u mean that the biggest scoring game is juventus vs olympiakos : 7-0 , a few seasons ago ? :pint:

this prooves that Serie A is a joke without juve

must agreed with u :toast:

Great post. I absolutely agree. I want SerieA to be the best in the world and Juve to be the best in the best league on this planet.

Man U played a great game, Roma played like crap, but I have to say something, the score was too harsh. Roma didnt play that bad, and i mean in a 7-1 losing way.
The biggest reason for the huge score was Doni, he was so horrible, I mean he was easier to beat than Tina Turner.

Really if you guys love Juve so much why do you want Milan,Roma and Inter to fail so often? i know im basically repeating what has already been said but i just want to know. Isnt beating Milan full strength going to be pleasing for you rather than a mediocre Milan? I think you should be wanting Milan and Roma to do well to keep some credability to the country until you guys return. Im just looking for answers thats all.

I support all Italian Clubs in European competition, except for Inter of course, they are a disgrace to Italian football. Let's hope Milan can save face tonight.

Chelsea and Mourinho are lucky to progress as they were not clearly the better team over the two legs. Canizares should have saved the Essien goal, another near post goal seen today, and Morientes could have scored three times if he was not the overrated striker that he is. But Mourinho will get all the credit again despite him not really deserving it and people on this forum will go gaga over the fact he will probably reach another final. I admit he's a great manager but people really need to put things into perspective here.... if Jose doesn't win the Champions League with this squad during his career perhaps he isn't the manager people think he is. For fucks sake he has by far the best roster in world football.
Exactly and imo Mourinho is just way too overrated. To me hes tactically an image of Capello. Luck saves his ass again just like it saved his ass for the past two years.

Abt the Romanisti, well i won't analyze the whole game cuz its just a waste.

I just have a message to them "Romanisti Welcome to Europe"
and Nothing in life is free :D
they got that spot for free and now thats wat they get i guess

Alright so Roma lost 7-1 away to Man U. Its a harsh result on them, but I knew they were an unpredictable team. They lose their heads easily at any minor set back.

CL is a knockout competition after all and one match determines your fate. Lets not forget that if Seria A was so bad then Man U lost from a team that finished 5th last season and they were scared shitless the whole week.

So EPL is the best right now with 3 teams in the semis, so did Seria A 3 years ago. That doesnt mean anything right now does it.

Chelsea will probably win it with their luck these days

greg if u read the previous pages u will find out that most of us were disgusted with last nights game despite the simple fact that we may hate roma alot but at the end of the day they represent italy. i sure hope milan can pull sth tonight although i honestly find it impossible specially when u consider gilardino's ban, and inzaghi being injured. i dont know if kaka will be able to change things around on his own or not. even if milan fail to qualify i just hope they play with spirit unlike last nights game were roma gave up after the first 10 mins.

what the hell are you talking about? juventus are in serie B remember, why on earth should we juventus fans care at all about the clubs in serie A?

serie a is nothing without juventus and with points deductions handed out, so much has been proved this year, the ONLY team i respect, and i mean ONLY team in serie A this year is fiorentina, because i think they have done exceptionally well to be where they are considering the punishments.

what would serie a dominating europe do? well it would show that serie a does not need juventus, it would show that FIGC did not make a mistake in relegating the greatest ever italian team, and it would also give undeserved credit to the exact bastards who are profiting at our expense, what the hell is the matter with you??

you say that people want juve to win a poor league? no one wants that, but we cant win this poor league at the moment, were in the one below!!! I dont see why we juventus fans should cheer for Roma, the team which is only in this competition because we were kicked out, it is not like a roma supporter would EVER cheer for us.

And i am an azzurri fan, but above all else i am a juve fan, and i will not and cannot sit back and watch as our team is victimised and shown an example of, especially considering we were by far the best italian team last season. On a normal season i would hope that the italian teams get through (bar inter) but this season i cannot bring myself to cheer for teams who have gotten away with something that we have been harshly punished for.

Milan also should not be in the CL, their punishment was an embarassment 9 points off and they have to qualify for c/l, boo fucking hoo, and we, for the same crimes get 2 scudetti wiped off, no european football, relegation and a 9 point deduction?????!!!

FUCK OFF if you are supporting these teams in the champions league, it just shows how fickle you are as supporters

I too hope that an EPL team doesnt win it, but it seems inevitable, goes to show that the EPL is way more better than Serie A and La Liga.
