Again, crowd trouble, Spurs fans throwing chairs at riot police. I guess thats police brutality. But what the hell 'police over-reacted' against the brits just because they're losing AGAIN.

Ask yourself this: Valencia have been punished massively now for the fightings in Mestalla. Inter? Nothing. Zip. Nadda.
Inter were on a warning already for the rain of fire towards Dida back in 2005. UEFA are acting like those British girl referees who is fumbling with their cards like an American teenage girl with a credit card.

the problem with the fighting is that everyone knows the english are more than happy to get it on, and in a place like Roma where the fans routinely stab and injure visiting fans, is it any surprise what happened? I hate Manure and Roma, so I'm relatively unbiased 
yeah the english good for a fight until there side starts losing like against Roma so they go and tell everybody they were nothing to do with it apart from they were throwing bottles accross the dividers!

Pulled calf muscle
The Argentinian suffered a pulled calf muscle during the 2-1 league win at Hannover 96 on Saturday in which he scored. "It's going to be a close thing", said coach Ottmar Hitzfeld when asked about the prospect of Demichelis, an unused substitute in the first leg, recovering in time. On the bright side for Bayern, Hitzfeld has both goalkeeper Oliver Kahn and midfielder Mark van Bommel available after missing last week's 2-2 draw in Milan through suspension.

When Wayne Rooney slotted the ball past Doni to draw Manchester United FC level during last week's quarter-final first leg at the Stadio Olimpico, the AS Roma back line had been breached for the first time in almost six hours of UEFA Champions League football.
Praise for United
For once the competition's most watertight defence had been caught out, and though Mirko Vučinić restored the Italian side's advantage six minutes later, Roma centre-back Cristian Chivu ruefully acknowledged the potential importance of Rooney's strike. "It was a blow because they were down to ten men and we felt in control at the time," the Romanian international told uefa.com. "Perhaps we got too excited and attacked too much but you have to admire the way United came back. Cristiano Ronaldo and Rooney were really dangerous - they did a great job."
'We can match the best'
Chivu, however, did not dwell long on the opposition's away goal. For the former AFC Ajax stopper, beating United represented another notable achievement. "We've followed up our win at Olympique Lyonnais with another victory against a top European club so we're delighted," he said. "Just being in the quarter-finals and playing Manchester United is extraordinary and the main thing is we've kept our chances alive. We're proving we can rival the best teams in Europe."
Fast learners
Beaten finalists in the European Champion Clubs' Cup in 1984, Roma's record in Europe has been modest over the last two decades. Indeed, they are the least experienced of the eight remaining contenders, yet Chivu, 26, feels Roma's young charges are learning quickly. "When [coach] Luciano Spalletti arrived two years ago he made a lot of changes and it was clear he had ambitious plans," Chivu said. "The team has made steady progress so it's no coincidence that we're starting to get some big results. This run is a consequence of the hard work that everybody has put in here over the last couple of years."
Protective shield
The 4-2-3-1 formation employed by Spalletti has been a crucial factor. The frequent interchanging of positions involving Totti and the three attacking midfielders creates endless problems for opponents, as United discovered last Wednesday, while holding midfield players Daniele De Rossi and David Pizarro - who returns from suspension for the second leg - offer a formidable protective shield in front of the back four. "If we have the best defence in the competition that's down to the whole team," said Chivu of an effort that has earned five clean sheets (and just five goals conceded) in nine outings. "Against United every player did their job and that's why we got a great result."
'Hard to beat'
Wearing a facial mask to protect a broken nose, Chivu turned in another fine display alongside Philippe Mexes, but he expects a tougher examination at Old Trafford on Tuesday. "We know if we keep a clean sheet we'll be through but we also know that playing in Manchester won't be easy. They have the experience and their team is full of quality." Asked how Roma should approach the game, Chivu replied confidently: "We should play the same way we played in the first leg, and the same way that we played in Lyon. If we do that we'll be hard to beat."
