I think Liverpool deserved to win ECL 04/05 final against Milan,
whatever many people says.
But they will not emerge as the champion again this year
if they only depend on their defence and a sheer of luck

Liverpool definitely din NOT deserve to win last year's C.L.Millan totally dominated the match for 110 minutes..Only god and the referee knows how this bunch of talentless butchers lifted the trophy...Not to mention Uefa's scandalous decision to allow them in this year's C.L..........Current 'Pool(sic) is a pain for the eyes...The most tasteless team in recent history,with mediocre keeper,4 indifferent defenders who would not make it in any other top club,so-so midfielders and a striker who never scores..Their matches are boring as hell...I'm pretty sure that every neutral fan of football prays that this "Thing" will go no further than 16............

No argument as to how sucky and boring they are, but don't you think you're going a bit overboard suggesting the referee shouldn't have let them win? I mean if you win, you win, regardless of how good you are..

I even read that as a suggestion that they had help from the ref, which is totally unjustified. The fact is that more talented, expensive teams failed to beat 'pool. Like Greece, they're deservedly Champions of Europe, even if they're not the best or most entertaining side around.

If you like conspiracy theories, you will want to remember that they also scored a goal vs Chelsea in the semi final which didn't actually cross the line. Also, Dudek's antics in the penalty shootout weren't completely kosher either.

Still, in each of these cases, the opposition did have plenty of time to win the match and didn't.
