I have a crush on Real Madrid too. I just can't get behind them 100% when Capello is treating his players with zero respect.
u like real madrid and barcelona??

Who's with me that Valencia is gonna beat Barca? :D
moi

It all depends on the referees and Barca's diving, but in a fair world, the current Valencia would beat the living crap out of the current Barcelona.
:agree:

No wonder. If either one of them fails, you have the other one to support.

Do you support Inter, Milan and Juventus in Italy too?

Like I've already said a zillion times the only team I support in Italy is Juventus.

That doesn't mean I can't enjoy watching Milan when they are playing well, for instance.

Can any of you say you didn't enjoy watching Real Madrid play some of the most beautiful football ever played in the beginning of the new millenium? Can any of you say you did not like the way Barcelona with grace defeated everything last season?

You seem obsessed with the subject of who I like or don't like. Now I've made it perfectly clear to you who I support.

You expressed yourself in a wrong way. You said before you like Real Madrid and Barcelona, you didn´t say you like their football.

These two are completely opposite things.

Capello: I’m not leaving

Fabio Capello does not intend to resign despite Real Madrid’s crisis coming to a head with the home defeat to Levante.

The Merengues lost 1-0 in Sunday’s La Liga match, plunging into more turmoil as they are now fourth in the table, having been leapfrogged by Valencia.

“I am not going to resign, I want to see my contract through,” said the Coach to the club’s website on Sunday.

“The crowd’s criticism is completely fair, however I’ve always said that I am convinced that we will win something this year and I still believe it,” continued the former Juve tactician.

“The result was very negative, although there isn’t much I can say to my men in terms of effort. I am the one to blame in the end, the Coach ultimately makes the calls, but I have to admit that we had five very clear scoring opportunities during the match.”

The Coach and his side were booed by the supporters, who expressed their disappointment by shaking white handkerchiefs in the traditional 'pañolada’, but the Pieris Coach still feels that the fans are on his side.

“I thank our die-hard ultras because they have helped us out and offered their support. We had many scoring opportunities, they only shot once, so the result is completely and utterly unfair.

“I don’t feel like we have failed, we are there in La Liga and very much alive in the Champions League,” concluded Capello.

Real Madrid’s board of directors is scheduled to meet on Monday to discuss the Coach’s future, as reports suggest that he might be fired if he fails to win the match with Real Sociedad next weekend.

Capello Blames The Ref, Then Forwards

Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello refused to fault Real Madrid's display, and chose, instead, to bring the referee in for an 'honourable' mention. He then went on to take responsibility for the defeat, but quickly insisted that it could have been different had his players taken their chances.

Real Madrid lacked penetration for much of the game, and when they did break through Levante, were uncharacteristically clumsy in front of goal. However, Capello insisted that the 1-0 defeat to Levante was bad only as a result.

"As a result, it is very negative, but in terms of effort I cannot say much to my players," he told the press after the game.

"They don't understand why a referee would come to the Bernabeu and officiate the game as horribly as he did."

Asked whom he would blame, he responded: "I think that it is always the coach, because he's the one that ultimately makes the calls.

"But then again, we had five very clear scoring opportunities during the match, for Raúl, Higuaín and Van Nistelrooy."

After more than a few boos from the Bernabeu, the press were in no mood to make it any easier for the Italian, and posed the question of resignation.

"No, I want to see my contract through," he said. "But the crowd's criticism [the jeers, and the white handkerchiefs] is completely fair. I've always said that I am convinced that we will win something this year. I thank our diehard ultras because they have helped us out and offered their support.

"We try to do our job well. We had five very clear chances. But that's how football is. Teams come here, they sit real deep, all the way in the back, and then they get a penalty awarded. You can lose with an action of this sort, like we did today."

Asked if he thought he had failed, he reponded: "No. We're there in the League and very much alive in the Champions League."
