I actually think Sevilla and Valencia look impressive this season and their starts have been very encouraging. Sevilla are the big absentees from the Champions League especially when you consider that Osasuna couldn't make it through the group stages.

Also I'm surprised David Villa didn't attract more attention this summer. I thought he looked equal to Torres at the World Cup and his goalscoring record the past two seasons has been pretty good.

it's not that i dont like barca but i want to see new teams wining like sevilla and valencia

i think barca will win it this year too, they have a very good squad now that they sorted out there defensive issues they have a superb offensive and defensive starting line. now i guess rijkaard has to start the rotating so he can go thru with all the competitions barca is playing in.

i think valencia i have a good chance to win.

he's not a big name player (just yet). besides, why would he want to leave valencia, who this year has a better squad then they did the last time they won the league..

well i didnt see the real game but i saw the barca game and i thought ur team was dead lucky to win that game and 3-0 flatters them ALOT.

There was no magic and certainly no fantastic display imo. Racing hit the bar,the post and always looked threatening.

barca got their first goal from a blunder from the keeper.2nd from a counter from guily and was deflected in goal.Third was a penalty at the end.

r u shure you watch barca game?? since barca dominated the position was 76% of the game according to match stat.

yeah am sure.first of all even the ESPN commentators, were talking that this stat was impossible in that game.
2nd- even if they had all the possesion, from wat i saw they didnt much with it.Few flicks and then go back to puyol

according to eurosport:

Santander Stats box Barcelon.
44 Possession 56
0 Goals 3
7 Shots 13
2 Shots on target 4

i doubt it could have ended 76% posesion for barca.
