the spanish league to me is more exciting than ever.
i'm not so sure barca or madrid will win, i'll join those who says valencia will win.
the best chez-squad i can remember. their defense has allways been good, but this year the offense look really great. villa, morientes, joaquin, vicente...sweet.
sevilla and atl.madrid will fight for the last cl.spot

he's not a big name player (just yet). besides, why would he want to leave valencia, who this year has a better squad then they did the last time they won the league..
They may have a better squad but then there is also Sevilla and a certain team called Barcelona.

I'm not saying he should move or want to - just that there was little interest. As a Milan supporter I'd much rather the club moved for a player such as Villa (indeed they did with Oliveira) who are much lighter in terms of cost than the overrated plethora of strikers that currently exist in the World right now; Adriano, Zlatan and Torres.

I'm surprised Benitez didn't rekindle his interest for him (who wanted to take him from Zaragoza) considering his bad striker purchases. Although looking at how he managed Morientes who is now scoring at Valencia - perhaps it is Benitez who contributes to his strikers looking average. All his teams have had this trait.

That's just absolute nonsense.

But people here have a tendancy to put La Liga down because they're biased. Same thing with people blasting Barcelona after winning the Champions League.

Well yes indeed, I certainly agree with that.

But the other poster was blatantly wrong in his statement.

barca vs valencia just ended with a 1-1 i guess its a good score for both teams after all they have the most convincing strating up lines and the best tactics soo far. i hope either one of them win, as long as its not crapello and his lame squad.

it was an interesting game last nite between barca and valencia.Valencia had the best of the first half and in the 2nd Iniesta was brought on and changed the game as well as scoring a goal.Overall it was a good game.

Athletico madrid showed their tough skin by coming from behind. And that would make the league interesting.

interesting statistic is that there was 10 red cards last nite!!!
