I have this Latin America Geography class in which I am required to pen a term paper. The topic is open, but is required to cover Latin America, the Caribbean or Central America/Mexico.
So far I have narrowed my list of possible topics down from about 20. I know there are some historians roaming this place, so I thought I'd "throw a rock at the night and hope it bleeds light". What do you guys think I should do?
Here are the remaining topics:
1) Rain Forest coffee production in Costa Rica
2) The Rise and Fall of Haiti
3) Peru Before the Incas
4) A History of Patagonia
5) History of Oil Production in Latin America
Right now I'm leaning toward doing The Rise and Fall of Haiti.
Any input is welcome. I've got until Wed to come up with the topic.
