Haaland is not an investment, he is a risk, he is hyped, he could become more expensive in the future and bring profit. But don't forget that he is a one season wonder and we are Juventus, the Juventus that plays in Serie A, the Juventus that ruins youngsters and don't give them opportunities, the Juventus that made toothless one of the most prolific forwards of all times.
And Haaland will have to compete with all those guys right away.
It will be nigh impossible to find the place to sign with us and his market value will drastically fall, as he doesn't have an established career to help him survive that.
Also, this 30+15mil +salaries investment will crop our available capital and rob us of any chances to buy the midfielder we need. We are repeating the same mistakes over and over again, wasting money on opportunity targets, not getting our primary targets and then suffer from it.
We don't have those 30mil to spare, as we can only afford free midfielders like Rabbiot and Ramsey.
Add to that the extremely high chances that we will ruin the kid due to the currently overstocked star forward line and you have an explosive cocktail.
Remember early Man City? They had loads of star forwards but achieved nothing until they got the midfielders to serve them. We must not repeat the same mistakes, we cannot afford them!
Every we spend like 100-150mil plus what we get from sales and we keep sucking hard at sales, what profit we make, is from our best talents. We always waste a chunk of our budget to manager dictated useless transfers, don't expect this to chance, the forward and CB lines are stacked, we need a creative midfielder and the likes of the SMS, Pogbs etc will cost like 100-120mil, this should be our priority right now and then, maybe, we can afford to gamble such moves
