Wait, who's us?

It's speculation at this point, but as an objective person I think that Newcastle has a better team. They;re going to add Anita any time soon to their team, Debuchy too maybe.
Everton.

Not much defference in the 2 at present. But if those players mentioned DO sign, they WILL finish above us.

They do struggle for depth in the squad at the moment.

Midfield and attack Newcastle is definitely much better than Everton..They need to make a few signings for the defense though..Debuchy looks close to completion. They need another CB as well.
Attack yes. Im not so sure in midfield.

Lets see how their get on in their 2nd season, with more pressure. Pardew has a poor record, last season was a rae good season for him.

If they reach the later stages...
There are some great teams in CL but the ones everyone would want to avoid are Barcelona and Real Madrid! I see no other team that is frightening more than the average for a top team except those two!
City are definitely a top team but we are the better team even though your 4th striker is better than our best one
I've seen this a few times here. Do you guys really believe you have a better team man for man than City? I mean i understand club bias. You will always love your own players first. But have you actualy seen Citys starting line up? Let alone the squad. From Juve i'd say Chiellini and Pirlo would get into our starting 11. Buffon is a legend but Hart is younger and in awesome form. But i just dont see how some of you think Juve's team is better. Out of City and juve's back 4 of Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clicy... I see Chiellini over Lescott. Thats it. Midfield for City. Nasri, Silva, Yaya, Barry. It's Pirlo over Barry. I've seen some say Marchisio over Nasri. So i will give you that as it's your forum. But in reallity. I wouldn't swap the two. As you say. Up front all Citys strikers get the nod

Taking all that into consideration. I'd say City are a lot stronger on paper.

All opinions i guess. Not trying to antagonise anybody.

Don't act like you are going to win CHL for sure .
On the contrary. I don't think anybody can ever be sure their club will win anything. Let alone the CL. I was responding to the arrogant claims that Juve would some how destroy City. In truth it would be a very close and exciting game.

Heh Blake this is actually a good discussion..Why dont we have it in the CL thread instead..lets not annoy the mods shall we :agree:
Appologies. Not much else going on :)

You obviously don't watch much PL footy. Best LB last season by a mile. He was immense for us. Fast, brilliant in attack and defence. In fact you homework for next season is to keep your eye on Clichy. My fave player of last season alongside Yaya and Barry.

And i like you too bud... And a few other good guys here. But man this place has a crazy number of trolls. I'd love to see the average age of this forum. It's like a bunch of teen kids on a day trip to Amsterdam lol. Obsessing over a pair of pretty twins. Guys, Come visit me and i will hook you up with a couple of escorts who look every bit as good as those two. Get that sh*it out of your system ;)
I troll a lot, not gonna lie...just people here though. People get so sensitive, I will admit that.

Gotta forgive them though, sensitive times for us currently with the court issues with Conte. People are on high alert and short fuses.

Is clichy RVp's agent? Because this looks like it has nothing to do with rvp.

ANyway before i read on espn that if conte is banned RVp will most likely not come

Yes it is. You have the CL experience we lack. But we have the better squad in my opinion.
You have the better attack. I'd say we have the better midfield. Defence is a coin toss I guess but we did have the best defense in Europe last season. Goalkeeping again a toss up although Buffon is arguably the best keeper of all time and certainly more experienced. I don't think the squads are all that far apart.
