So what are Liverpool going to do? Suarez out for 8 games, Lucas out for the rest of the season. If you guys thought they had a goal draught up till now, I can't wait to see what'll happen now :p

Again, doesn't matter, unless it was a racist term from Evra, which it wasn't. Players get insulted on the field all the time, Evra admitted to swearing at Suarez in Spanish, so he replied with a racist term.

Insults between players are not bannable offences, racist insults are. Lets see what happens with the John Terry case first before we start talking about the England FA being a joke, I don't see how any FA in the modern game would not ban a player for a racist insult.
John Terry better get 8 matches at the least.

Gingers aren't a different race, nor are fat people, albinos, pirates, or people with a gammy leg.
black people have diffrent apperence because of the way their genes express, like black skin, because of pigmentation

gingers have red hair and white skin, thin lips and a high libido and temperament, of a certain gene that isnt funcionning as it should

its the same thing from genetic point of view

I think it literally means "Little Black". The controversy is whether it should be deemed as racist speech. I'm guessing that since it was used as a reply to insults, the FA suggested that the intent was to insult and so therefore it is racist speech.

The full report should be out by Friday. It should give some insight into the FA's position.

That's a little harsh. Is it as harsh in Spanish as it is in English?
I'm led to believe it would be more on a level of 'darkie' or something in English.

Pretty low down on the racist scale, but still not very nice.

Very harsh punishment for Suarez and a very awkward precedent that the FA has set themselves.

John Terry will have to get a longer ban than that if found guilty, because what he said was worse and he has no excuse of being in an unfamiliar culture or anything.
