He was average once again.
Not really. He set up the goal with a pin-point cross to Crouch to lay down.

Tottenham as a team were average. They still have that small club mentality which will make them struggle with weaker teams and overachieve against stronger ones. So I don't understand why you come here after each game they flop and gloat. No one expects them to be the new Chelsea or something.

They have some amazing players and on their day are a joy to watch, but they need to get some consistency. My personal opinion is on the basis of last season's success, they now have no pressure and can't do no wrong. The club needs to up their ambitions. I remember at the start of the season Redknapp saying; "we can't guarantee a 4th place finish this year". Lame.

Just one question, if Modric is that good like few claim why hasn't any of the big teams approached him yet? I never hear or read that this big X team welling to offer Tottenham this amount of money for Modric. Or this GM is flying to London for some Modric negotiation.

None of the Italians teams seem interested in him. None of the Spanish big ones, and none in England except Tottenham themselves.

He's not for sale? Man Utd want to bring him for the past year, this year there were even rumors Barca turned their attention to him after Fabregas seems intent on staying at Arsenal.

But those are just rumours, Tottenham are a team in building, they don't want to sell their best players. And they don't need to either.

Could be the case.

But usually mid table teams do try to sell their key and best players for a decent amount of cash in return. I don't think they'll keep Bale, Modric for too long if a really good offer is on the way.
