He hasn't fielded a positive formation this season. You can't constantly play negative football and expect players to get behind you. That said, the players have been crap as well.
Yeah he's not been so positive, but I feel sorry for him in a way, he was never going to be the one to steady the Liverpool boat and now he's feeling the pressure of managing a big club. Like you said I feel the players have alot to answer for aswell.

He's been a pussy in the media as well. That's the thing that disturbs me the most. He almost accepts the shit performances we've been showing as if that's "where we should be".

Also, it's really hard to feel sorry for him when he accepted the job knowing that the club was going to be in a state of transition. I'd understand if we were midtable and struggling with what Hodgson has had to work with, but bottom of the table really is unacceptable.

Come on E. Would you really want him as Liverpool manager again?
He is the last guy to win us the title. Frankly I don't see many top managers fighting to coach relegation battling Liverpool.

Was this sarcasm? :D

I remember the surprise with Blackburn in 1995 so I checked and I see that he won the league 3 more times with Pool.
I'm not even going to answer.:D

By the way, do you remember the name of the manager who helped Rovers back to the second division?

I can't wait to see Mike Newell and Stuart Ripley playing for Liverpool in January.
Bah! :D

Seriously E? Liverpool at that point in time were the team to beat. The team was fantastic & they were a strong, united force.

I really doubt Dalglish could work his magic again.

I doubt they would. They're probably aiming for someone from the UK.
I suppose O'Neill will be in the running. As long as fans aren't allowed to dictate who the new manager is Liverpool should do better, once you get fans starting to talk about 'passion' and such it starts to go downhill. Liverpool fans have a bit in common with Newcastle for their love of club heroes, and we all saw how that turned out with a) a guy who hadn't managed for 10 years and b) a guy who hadn't managed full stop.
