At this moment they need an authority who can motivate the players and create a good atmosphere. Dalglish as a Liverpool legend might do exactly that. Come May they can think about a new project with new names.
They need a strong personality, but Dalglish would be a horrible choice.

Exactly, someone who isn't going to look at a 2 - 0 loss to Everton and say it was a good performance.
Dalglish said he thought it was perfectly reasonable for Scotland to play 4-6-0 away to the Czech Rep. and that trying to get a fraw away from home against mediocre teams is the best Scotland can aspire to.

He's a legend, but there is no sign that he has what it takes to organise or motivate a side.

And he's a diving prick.

Why?

I don't know him as a coach but you're the third in the last two pages who thinks it's a very bad choice so I wonder what's the story.
A long time out of the game. Half of Scotland struggles to understand what he is saying, so goodness knows how he would communicate with foreign players. He's done poorly in every job he's had, except Blackburn.

I see no reason to think he could do a good job.

Liverpool's starting point, if they are to replace Hodgson, should be O'Neill. If they can get someone better, good luck to them, but he is the obvious safe option.

I wouldn't get rid of Hodgson, though. Not before Xmas, anyway.

I was hinting a Given and Co. But if you must demean the man, go ahead. CHELSEA FAN!

We'll just have to agree that you're wrong on this on B.:D
Yeah but you conveniently overlooked his disaster signings!

I have a slight preference to Chelsea because:

a) Not a lot of people here support them, whereas the majority of EPL fans here follow manure, pool & arsenal. They make me sick, if people think the english media are bad, you lot should come here & have a good laugh.

b) Vialli, Di Matteo, Casiraghi & Zola were some of my favourite players back in the day.

I think we'll ignore your last statement & agree that you're basing your decision on nostalgia & that won't work.:D

They need a strong personality, but Dalglish would be a horrible choice.
:agree:
