About the spanish media, Fred is completely right, the spanish brag about as much or maybe even more than the English, their tv broadcast commercial even say "estás viendo Liga BBVA, la mejor liga del mundo" which translates in "You're watching BBVA league, best league in the world". And don't even get me started on spanish newspapers/websites.

And that seems to be the conception people have in the spanish speaking world, they all believe spanish primera is the best league and that the best teams in the world are barcelona and real. It's pretty common, actually.
One of my friends who is a Real Madrid fan told me the same thing before, you have now confirmed my suspicions.

Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski declares he is ready to face Chelsea

Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is sure his fine display against Partizan Belgrade has given him the boost to shut out Chelsea on Sunday.

The two sides meet for their top of the Premier League table clash off the back of a 3-1 victory against the Serbian side. Deputising for the injured Manuel Almunia, the Poland international saved a penalty and tipped a dangerous shot wide to guarantee the win.

Speaking to reporters, Fabianski was in confident mood ahead of the crucial weekend fixture.

"Overall, I am pleased with my performance," he said.

"I am not talking about just saves, but reading the game, coming for crosses or playing with my feet.

"Every aspect of goalkeeping is important for me, so I am pleased with my performance in general."

The 25-year-old continued: "I am ready to play against Chelsea. I was always ready, so we will see.
"I was never really bothered by all the things said. I was always trying to focus on my job and my work.

"That is what I was always doing and that's why I am grounded."

Fabianski should shut the fuck up, because he is going to embarrass himself against Chelsea. Him playing well against Partizan was the worst thing for me last week, even worse than losing to West Brom, because it means that Wenger will give him an extended run of games in the team, and everytime Wenger has done that with Fabianski, there has been only one outcome.

I firmly believe, that Fabianski is the worst keeper i have seen play for Arsenal. Even Mart Poom was a much more reliable keeper back in the day.
