No its not, I dont think he is great, but him playing a winger is NOT something he can be blamed for (just like Eboue playing winger too isnt his fault), he is a box striker, and can play quite good there, and is improving more and more, even if iffy consistency in finishing, but even if he hasnt been bad as a winger (decent), I dont get at all why Wenger is still insisting on playing him as a winger. While you see RVP who has little presence in the box, being there, doing very little.
Well, if you think of it that way Eboué shouldn't have any excuses anyways because orginally he was a fullback so he's supposed to be good and pushing up and down the flanks whilst getting crosses in. Where as for Eduardo, I'm completely bemused as to why Wenger is choosing to play him on the wing he clearly dosen't fit and is not comfortable there. He's a fox in the box, if he were put up top to partner Van Persie I'm sure that it would be more effective. To be honest Van Persie is made of glass of it's only a matter of time before Eduardo get's another chance in the position where's he's most effective.

EDIT:

Dammnnn, Vermaelen.

Vermaelen drank some Asterix and Obelix juice :D

And, no just because Eboue is a fullback who is good at attacking does NOT mean he will be a good winger, there are clear differences in the standards and conditions for those roles, and what you expects, its so overall for fullback, they are caught out a bit more as winger, they cant be as impressive offensively when they dont have the samde wide space to run down on. And you faces the opposition defence in a way different way when higher up, it requires more skill and understanding of the game offensively.

Well, you certainly have a point with regards to the position but I was talking more of a comparison between Eboue and Eduardo because Eduardo is more indepth in the box, and a part of Eboue's game is to put crosses in. Like you said with Bendtner who drifts off onto the wings, Eduardo dosen't do that because he's more intelligent at key moments in the game. And you're right because Eboue can't make as much impact as a winger... Anyways, Eduaro in the box = goal, as I just saw. Don't quite understand Wenger's thinking on this one.

Well he plays everyone out of position as a winger it seems, Eduardo, Bendtner, Eboue, Diaby, you name it, he mismatched them as wingers. Everyone except the one who started out as a natural winger in RVP, playing lone box striker.

Oh I see, that's rather ironic. :D Eduardo is a lot lot more effective now that he's up front with Van Persie.
