Adebayor's antics were disgusting today. I could forgive him for his 100M dash to the other side of the pitch just to taunt the Arsenal fans, they have given him a lot of shit, and it goes two ways, so i won't hold that against him.

But the stamping is what i cannot forgive. One on Cesc in the first half, and one on RVP in the second. The latter was the most disgusting, it was obviously intentional and he caught RVP right on the face. The FA should look into that and punish him. Wouldn't feel sorry for the bastard at all, if he got a career ending injury ala Eduardo's one, and never recovered. On the contrary i would rejoice it.

Fucking Bastard, will support Man Utd next game just because i hate Adebayor more than i do the Mancs.
It was a disgrace, and I hope he gets a lengthy ban.

Do you feel though that RVP was trying to do damage to him with that tackle?

I didn't see the game but they were analysing the incidents here and i thought it was interesting that in real time and from the angle behind him, it does not look like a stomp. Only that angle from the front shows it.

But seeing his antics, i have no doubt he meant it.

To be honest, it doesn't bother me in principle when a player goes and celebrates in front of the opposition fans, if I scored for Liverpool against manu I sure as hell would be tempted to do it. But to stomp on a player like that is horrendous, and it sure looks intentional in that clip

Dudu and Arsenal got their justice by UEFA. If I was an Arsenal director, I'd sue the ass of all those shitty newspapers, like Sun, for their completely unnecessary witch hunt.

What's the matter, dear?
Eduardo was crucified for nothing, he was treated horribly, just because he's not English and "English don't dive". What makes it worse, Eduardo is the type of guy that wouldn't hurt a fly, probably one of the nicest pro-players ever...it made me sick to hear the jeers he received at English stadiums lately. Hopefully they'll shut up after UEFA withdrew their ban.

Edu is the unluckiest striker ever. First the long term career threatening injury, then his reputation is fucked over by the UEFA.
Add to that when he signed for Arsenal, he was immediately sued by the guy who helped him out as a kid, when he came to Croatia. The guy basically bought him a pair of football shoes and rented him a place to live and then asked compensation, claiming they signed a contract which entitles him to a percentage of Dudu's move from Dinamo. Turned out the contract was faked. :howler:

Really unlucky guy.

Absolutely no chance.

A bigger concern is that the refs will view him as a diver and may not give him freekicks/penalties that he deserves.
