Gascoine is a fuckin joke thats for sure, i still remember he's fat ass playing for lazio and he absalutely sucked. Again he was good in england so he must be the best thing ever on this planet (english mentality ). As for cantona he was good but definately don't belong to that list you mentioned (he's waay waay below them).

ronaldo?? ah! cmon! what has ronaldo won on the pitch that del piero hasnt? look at ronaldo now! hes a joke, holding out for a big wage move rather than ressurect his career at a smaller club like siena who will pay him 800k per goal as part of motivating him back to form, and he says hes too good for that? thats sickening that for him now its about the money, for del piero its about the football.

van basten - ended his career early so i cant see how you can even compare his to del piero's since del piero lasted longer, plus van basten had the great milan team, probably the greatest milan team ever assembled, juve dont have that.

the point is del piero is a leader, an inspiration, Juve may not be a team of world class galacticos but it just shows his influence on the rest of the team, carries the team on his shoulders every time, which is more than what can be said about most if not all of the players mentioned above.

I'm surprised nobody really responded to this post. But let me get this right, you are saying Pele is not better than DP??

pele putting in good performances every 4 years doesnt warrant anything spectacular, like i said he never played in europe or for at least a big club, its like saying thiago silva is the best defender in the world right now because hes playing well in brazil
