Seriously, Badass, the south american clubs back in the 50's and 60's were just as good, if not better, as the European clubs.
The greatest south Americans didn't go to play in Europe like they do now and 99% of the Argentinian and Brazilian players played there.

It's something like Boca, River, Santos or Sao Paolo today having players like Messi, Zanetti, Ronaldinho, Amauri, Kaka, Diego, Mascherano etc.
Funny how he ignored probably the most important point of all.

agreed. never thought i'd be listening to a serious debate over whether DP or Pele is better
Pele's exploits in the World Cup don't count because he had good players on his WORLD CUP team? That makes no sense.

What World Cup has Italy not gone in as a favorite? How many times have we heard before a WC, you'll have to worry about the usual contenders like France, Germany, Brazil, and Argentina, but no worries about the Italians, they're shite?
If this was a Maradona-Pele debate, then it would make sense, but im sorry..The Pele-Del Piero comparison is retarded.
:wth:

Fucking weird stuff.

Priceless responses

Pompey's training plonker forced to drive home in Reliant Robin and this time it's David James

Forget Baby Bentleys, Mercedes convertibles and posh Porsches, Portsmouth's players will be forced to drive home from training in an old banger if they put in a poor session.

The Pompey stars have all chipped in to buy a decrepit Reliant Robin - blue, of course - that the worst player in training every day must drive home as punishment for his poor performance.

Today's shame-faced star was England goalkeeper David James, who was forced to drive home in the clapped-out car.

Incentive scheme: Portsmouth's David James sits in the three-wheeler that the worst trainer at the club will have to drive home in

All mod cons: James manages to open the window, and it looks like he might have to do that to open the door!

And to add further embarrassment to the under-performing trainer, the fun-loving footballers have attached a loud-speaker to the three-wheeler that plays farm-yard animal noises.

Previously an idea from Leeds United c2001, who had a yellow Reliant Robin similar to that owned by Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses, there's a bit of wheeling and dealing down at Fratton Park - even if Harry Redknapp has left for Tottenham.

One careful owner: James proudly shows off his motor for the day

Banger racing: James puts the pedal to the metal - thank goodness for the spoiler

Pompeys rule. :D
