Ive always respected Giggs, unlike a lot of Manure players. But the comment about Ferrara baffles me.I thought he'd mention Robbie Savage in there,as they would have played quite a bit against each other in the league. And Giggs played against Montero and Ferrara what..4-5 times?Im too lazy to check the lineups for the Juve-Manure matches in the past.

Shortly before midnight local time, Blackburn Rovers and Tottenham Hotspur both announced that the former Arsenal midfielder was heading back to London.

It is thought that the White Hart Lane side have shelled out a record £18m for the ex-Gunner, rendering him the club's record signing. However, the official fee has yet to be disclosed by either side.

David managed 21 goals in 133 appearances for Rovers since joining from Arsenal three years ago, having also picked up three England caps along the way.

His future at Ewood was deemed uncertain after another fantastic season at the heart of Mark Hughes' midfield: just as the manager left for Manchester City this summer, so too has Bentley opted to seek pastures new.

Bentley is Spurs' third signing of the summer, joining Luka Modric and Giovani dos Santos at the Lane. Blackburn, meanwhile, have also parted company with another first teamer in the form of Brad Friedel, who was sold to Aston Villa.
