Tosic is a winger, from what i heard. If he is, what type of winger would you classify him as, Dule? Is he an orthodox winger or a creative attacking midfielder? What are his main attributes?

Anyone watching the Spuds - Wigan game? Wigan are a decent team to watch actually, Valencia and Palacios are an impressive pair. Modric isn't doing too bad for the Spuds either, Bentley too is having a good game.

He can play as fullback as well but he's doing much better as a winger. His nickname is "bambi" by the way. :p

He's very fast, posses great technique and have very good shot but not that bad covering back. You can check him out on youtube. Not to judge a player by that but just to take a closer look at him.

Wow, i didn't know this. Against Fenerbahce he played behind the strikers as an AMC and he played as a winger on the other matches i saw from him. But not a Ryan Giggs type of winger. More of a Giovinco type of winger. He seemed to me like someone who was forced to play on the wing but prefered to play more central.
I would have never guessed that he plays even as a full back.

He has a very good technique indeed, but even though he's technical he seemed much more mature than other similar players (Nani, Quaresma etc) and he looks much more like a team player.

True. And those bastards can just toss cash around like it's toilet paper.

I'm so jealous. My team may be in first. But instead of making and impact signing we're going to recall a couple players from loan.:D

What positions do you think need strengthening in Liverpool?

We could use a RB, RM, and some cover up top. Really RB should be priority. Rafa may be looking to get some of the younger guys involved with Hammil coming back.
Is that Adam Hammill?

Unless he has improved a lot in the last year or so, he is not good enough to play for you guys.

Was unbelievably selfish during his year on loan at Dunfermline.

thats a bit too harsh since he has to cover so much ground as there's no one with any defensive inclination(elano??) on that side; whats frightening for man city is their best performer so far is ireland
Ball has that excuse at Man City, but he has always been a poor fullback.

Ireland has been very impressive so far. Not dissimilar to Lampard in the way he drives forward from midfield.

Its going to be hard to find a good enough fullback that isn't cup tied. I don't think you guys should go for Glen Johnson, he isn't that much of an upgrade over Arbeloa imo, even though his recent performances suggest he is.

Not really an excuse, he was poor last season as well, when he had Petrov on the left side who did his fair share of tracking back(even though he can be lazy at times)

Ireland is a good player. He's having a fantastic season. A more technical less pragmatic version of Lampard i'd say.

They could relocate further down south.

Yeah Rafa has already said he's going to give the kid a look. I saw the goal he scored against Celtic, but that's about it.

Well right now we have Arbeloa and Arbeloa. I think Rafa wants competition in training sessions and someone to play a few league games so I don't think the Cup tie factor would matter. Also, if we had someone who was better at going forward it would offer us a different look to throw at the opposition.

Isnt Degen even good enough to play a single game or what? Rafa's signing tend to be bit off, but this one takes the cake. Unless he has been injured all season ala Zebina.

He's been injured, half fit, then injured again. Everyone knew Degen would be a gamble which is why we only took him on a free transfer. Hopefully he can make fitness and show something over the second half of the season or maybe Darby can step up. But having Arbeloa play every single match isn't a good idea.
