You're insane. As is everyone who thinks Tevez is so much better than Hazard. If Hazard goes to Barcelona, he plays. If he goes to Real Madrid, he plays. The same cannot be said for Tevez. I consider them pretty much of equal quality. Aguero has the benefit of being slightly less crazy, which has helped his career IMO.

However, that is only true as Aguero would spend a third of the season out injured, and can therefore not be considered a reliable player to lead the team. Would he have the the same injury record as Tevez, I'd prefer Aguero.

They'd make him play somewhere. I think Suarez would be a possible victim, with Messi playing a more central role. Or they'd just change things up more. Either way, he'd play often. Tevez, not so much.

nuance here is technically better doesnt translate as better footballer imo tevez as a package is a better footballer, when you take into account the goals, the hard work, the grinta. Drop aguero in west ham, man u bench and he wont deliver as well as carlitos.

Shit he did for City at the last minutes, and amount of goals he scored despite missing so many goals, and in Atletico too. Kid is bonafide star. Tevez is a total warrior and also great (he adapts and goes to the very end for you), but Aguero edges out for me in footballing level. If fully healthy, he is the non Messi/CR attacker I would dream to have. Technically brilliant attacker.

If you look at their game/goal ratio for City, they are pretty similar. Aguero edges out slightly. But he was pretty much always the focal point of their attack, where Tevez has endured a lot of criticism. I would to pick Suarez over him prolly, but not Cavani, even if I love Cavani overall package, Aguero is more talented for sure and undeniably the superior player. Suarez I could pick over Aguero more recently simply because he realized he is supposed to score, and alot too in past year or two since his last Liverpool season. Before that he was getting by with humble figures really and just settled with being all around 2nd forward wing attacker, he took it up a notch to Aguero level and above (especially since the argie is injured sooo much). But if push come to shove, if he got over his health problems, I would pick Aguero still prolly simply because I like him more. More fun to watch and not as annoying.

That is true, they are pretty close, I said edges out or choose him by inch for a reason, even though Aguero is more skillfull and dead on goal hungry attacker then Tevez, the latter makes it up with being that much more of a fierce fight for every inch player. But I include their overall Europe career in general since Atletico/West Ham days til now, Tevez clearly has had more struggles and hurdles, and perhaps not so great career choices (poor management, he should since leaving Boca only gone to teams where he is at the big stage and is the center piece of the whole team), while Aguero's issues is injury. But in overall watching them both, Aguero simply edges out infront of him for having that extra gear in ability as a player to just put someone like Bayern to the sword when you are needed, and ability to carry his team on regular basis, reminds me a little of Romario in a way.

Let's entirely disregard that Tevez himself has stated on multiple occasions that Serie A and its playing style helped him to grow as a player. There's obvious difference between the level of his performance during the time he had played in England and this season in Juventus (Serie A) when he definitely reached his peak. He was very good player before, not quite the game chager, while right now he is undisputedly world class player capable of taking the game by the storm. Too bad he's soon to be 31 yo.

I think you inadvertently underrated Tevez here, he was amazing back when he was in the EPL. Ferguson made a huge mistake when he benched Tevez for Berbatov in his final season, and he lived to regret that mistake, because in Tevez's first few seasons for City he was their star player, he absolutely tormented teams like United and Chelsea as Osman pointed out. In his last couple of seasons, he kind of self sabotaged his career tbh, he obviously wasn't very happy in England, but to say he wasn't a game changer in England is to completely underrate his time there. Also, that season with West Ham when he single handedly kept West Ham from relegating was amazing. The guy has always been a warrior, and I for one thought very highly of him when he was in the EPL. I'd actually argue that he was probably better at City than he is at Juve.

That being said, you are also massively underrating Hazard's form this season. I find it highly debatable to put Tevez ahead of him tbh. Both are arguably the best players in their respective leagues, and both have played very well in the CL this season despite Hazard not doing too well in the knockout stage.

I agree with this. I really admire Tevez as a player, but Aguero just edges it.
