their fans look like the outcome of incest marriages i kid you not, the camera closed on a section of them behind mou and they look very punchable too. chelsea might be horrible etc but they showed up to the game, arsenal are really horrific to watch.
Their fans are plastics, bandwagoner fuckwits. And their "hardcore" fans are racist douchebags who are friends with the likes of Lazio.

They'll fucking piss the league this year, I just hope they don't win the CL.

Ozil real world class player, i remember when the whole forum was calling him world class and getting on my back for calling him a good player not a great player. The guy is good if u give him tonnes of space like most players but when he's pressured he folds incredibly fast and goes into his shell and doesn't come out again.

That's crazy. I was listening to some program on BBC radio a few weeks back about how great it was the fans got back the stadium. What a cunty thing to do.

The council say they are thinking about the local taxpayers, having a Premiership rugby club in the city. Yeah that's nice, but football dwarves rugby union anywhere across the country, and the money and prestige is far greater. Having even a Championship level football club is worth more in terms of footfall and interest, and slightly less in prestige (Wasps are a European-level side traditionally).

This also has a big impact on Coventry RFC, who were one of the leading union sides in the 70s and 80s (a bit like a rugby union version of Leeds or Forest in League 1).

With the Ricoh sponsorship up in 2015 I expect Wasps will have all their own deals in place and colour schemes for the stadium. It'll be back to feeling like an outcast, but at least the team will still be in Coventry (for the short term).

When I first heard about this, I assumed Wasps were from Coventry. It turns out they're actually based an hour and a half away. Is this as unusual in English rugby as it would be in English football? Is it not basically the same as the MK Dons fiasco?

It's definitely unusual, and their local fans are pretty furious. I read that the club will give free coaches to season ticket holders, but it's just the time issue. That's 5 hours out of their day rather than half that.
