I've followed some 3rd world countries games and I can comfortably say, their refs are "much" better than Italy.
Um.. ok. We will have to disagree on this then. I'm not saying italy refs are the best, but what you are saying and still standing by your statement is kind of ridiculous.

I agree that refs in the EPL, who are absolutely rubbish, are still of a better standard than most Italian refs.

I cant comment on other "third world" leagues, but I'm sure there's plenty that are much worse than in Italy.

Just arond my corner (east europe) is worse not talking about asia or any other countries where football is just something to pass time between the charity food.

Anyway, the whole referies are terrible is nonsense imo, they are and always were of similar standard, just that the media the tv replay and everything around including the owners crying for every lost dollar is getting too much attention.

I mean, even the slightest mistake by a ref is now a big contraversy in some bigger matches and up for talking for days, and it paints an unreal picture about the real situation.

Italian refs are the most competent technically, but they are affected by so much external pressure. I've seen people from other countries comment positively on the performance of an Italian ref in European games, quite often actually. An Ajax fan was saying as much about Luca Banti recently.

Put them into Serie A and it's just madness. I think the pressure in this league would crush the PL clowns, to be honest.

I'm just going to leave this here: http://forum.juventuz.org/threads/3...lk-(2013-14)?p=4313356&viewfull=1#post4313356

The same lee clark was really impressed with his attitude, on and off the field. He compared his football ability to that of Paul Gascoigne.
Last night he was the MOTM in westhams opening league cup game. If pogba is so far ahead of him how was it not the case a couple of years ago? Or are you telling me pogba has improved exponentially since he came here?
I won't stop and a lot of you guys are gonna be made to look foolish soon enough. You might think he's gonna end up at west brom but I'm telling you he won't. Prepare the humble pie is all I can say.
Prelude:

You haven't seen his type fail many times because the football world rarely produces players of his quality.
Yup, we probably won't be signing him because the people in the big offices are probably as narrow minded as you on a situation like this. We'll probably sign these talentless italian players who won't contribute much to our team and we'll thus never catch up to the bayerns of this world.
Ravel morrison is just a football god in the making
It would be like signing zidane all over again.

@DelPiero no10

I don't mind humble pie, but those are some big parameters you have set.
