Chelsea ask €30m for Cuadrado?
By Football Italia staff

Milan are reportedly very interested in Juan Cuadrado, but Chelsea want €30m for the winger.

The Colombian international spent last season on loan at Juventus, but Blues manager Antonio Conte is a long-term admirer of the former Fiorentina man.

As a result, the English side are reluctant to sell, although reports have suggested that Cuadrado favours a return to Serie A.

Today Leggo reports that the Rossoneri are keen to bring him to San Siro, but wouldn’t be able to pay the €30m asking price.

They are therefore hoping to lower the transfer fee through intermediary Alessandro Lucci.
Get him back please, gives us a completely different dimension!

Rakitic won't do it. James is the one to take. He's 3 years younger, another level, much more marketable and is a WC player while Rakkitic is just a good option, nothing more. The difference is around 30 mil between them, Zaza money.

despite the fact that Rakitic has been an essential part of the barcelona side since his move more so than James has been for madrid.

James is incredibly overrated, tbh Isco would be a better fit for us. James is practically rated upon his world cup performance at the last world cup, he has been nothing since. Rakitic is on a much higher and consistent level. Couldn't give a fuck about the marketability part, what they do on the pitch means a lot more than shirt numbers

James gives us that unpredictability that we lack in attack though. I like Rakitic very much but James is younger and can still improve.

The most used word in the last few weeks in this forum. Some people will feel a lot more comfortable supporting Madrid.

Are you mad?! Stop it. Nowhere near Juventus quality. The only good thing about him are his shots/free kicks. That would be crazy money for him.
It would be paying for potential for sure, but he is 22, and from what I've read he could turn out being an elite deep-lying playmaker. You're in Germany though, so you probably know better. lol.

all if's and buts however Rakitic gives guarantees, James could be a very expensive flop as he has proven to be so far for madrid, no doubt madrid would want to see a large sum of what they paid back in his sales which we would be stupid to meet. I'd sooner pay 50 mill for rakitic than 50 for James. I can't see us lacking in unpredictability with the likes of Pjanic, Pjaca, Dybala and hopefully Pogba on the field
