My main focus would be dynamic players in the center of the pitch who can play one-touch, run box to box and put in a decent amount of defensive work. CAM, CM or even ST.

Players like Koke, Mkhitaryan, Thiago, Gundogan, Verratti, Modric, Pjanic etc.

I think our CM play was a little bit of a let down this year (injuries didn't help either).

Apparently we've sent scouts to follow Kanté, he's basically Leicester's engine in midfield and is on equal footing with Mahrez and Vardy in terms of contribution imo.

Having him would be great.

I dont think there is even a point talking about Ibra and its not because of his wage!
Our policy has always been about building something!
Ibra is a temp and not a part of building therefore I dont see it happening!
Cavani could be as he has some years in him (he isnt 34...)
Players such as Mkhitirian definitely fit the bill

Ibra has 35 goals 15 assists in 39 games this season, wed be crazy to say no if we had a chance. also, Tevez was a temporary solution, thats no reason not to sign such a player. id take 2 seasons like this from Ibra over 5 15-20 goal seasons from someone else

I would like Ibra too but I dont see this happening!
Tevez wasnt a temp because we knew he would go back to Boca but it could have been 4 years later rather than now...
Tevez wasnt 34 when we signed him...

Anyway Kante is a very good defensive player but I`m worried about his passing skills... seems to me Sissoko like (the passing not overall)
As for AM Mahrez just keeps being interesting wouldnt mind both...

I wonder til what age zlatan will remain so worldclass.

Amazing how he resists notable decay
Well Totti is nowhere as good as Ibra and he still offered something for Roma last season so I think 36-38 for Ibra is doable without notable decay.

Kante is actually quite ok with the ball. He can pass quite well and also has the ability to run with the ball at his feet. His attacking contribution is where he is lacking but that's not his job.

Throw money at Napoli for Allan or throw money at Gladbach for Dahoud. We need to buff our CM so bad it's not even funny.

But lol at us signing a Napoli player, or any player from our domestic rivals, atleast player they want to keep. Vucinic in Roma and Hernanes in Inter were both players they didnt want to keep.

mids I see us go for Diawara. Miki seems it can happen. Dahoud or some other emerging kid would be nice. If we don't re-sign Evra, Masina would be a nice backup. At RB Vrsaljko seems like the front-runner. In attack it depends what happens with Alvaro.
