Juventus plan to sell Paul Pogba and spend the €100m on Isco, Axel Witsel and Edinson Cavani, claims Tuttosport. FI

If we do this it might be an overall improvement but I`m not sure Witsel is good enough!
We are strongly linked with Mkhitirian so what I think will happen is this:
1. Cavani - Madrid will call Morata back and will get rid of Benzema to some team.. maybe Arsenal..
2. Mkhitirian - Its bound to happen
3. CM - His name is still unkown but will probably be some young talented and not that much of a big name
4. Mandragora
5. Cuadrado will be retained
6. Berardi - The waiting thing might be problematic so we might miss on him
7. Isco - Forget about him.. not going to happen
8. We will get some other cheap young players but not a big name ones
9. Tielmans - Yeah thats not going to happen...
10. Gundogan - He will end up at Real

Overall we will remain quite the same with more quality in attack but our central mid will not be at the same level!

Am I the only one who doesn't want cavani? He would cost a shitload of money while he isnt that young anymore.. I'm scared of him declining fast in a year or two..

Also: stop mentioning mandragora.. He doesn't even play every match in Serie B so he isn't ready for juve yet..

No you are not the only one, actually you are spot on.

If we use this market wisely we must challenge for 1/2 finals min next year. No scheduling excuses, bar Barcelona. Obviously most players want to come here now, since we exemplify the words future and competitive.

What I want to see is us making some sweet sales and send a message to everyone by keeping all our stars.

Me too. I love Cavani... but he would cost us too much and he is already 30yrs old or close

Keep telling you that the name for the CM spot should be Xhaka!!!

Fucking hell this summer is going to be interesting. Assuming we sell Pogba, I'd also try and sell Zaza to an EPL team for 25m.

I guess, with 125m plus what ever amount we plan on spending I'd try for this:

Buffon
Vrsaljko-Barzagli-Bonucci-Sandro
Marchisio-Gündoğan-Lemina
Mkhitaryan
Dybala-Morata

Bench: Mandzukic, Berardi, Cuadrado, Sturaro, Chiellini, Neto, Lichtsteiner, Evra, Padoin, Mandragora, Pereyra, new CM.

Out: Pogba, Zaza, Asamoah, Hernanes

Or, we keep pogba, and make it easy
I don't think we will to be honest. Something about that loss to Bayern seems to suggest we will. Can't put my finger on it. The top players we want are gonna be tough to get without that additional 20-30m we lost out on in the CL.

Probably depends how ambitious we are. If we keep Morata and make a big signing to show that are are serious about doing something in Europe I think we can convince him to stay. Building a team around Dybala, Pogba, Morata and another big player with room for growth we could be set.

If we are not willing to invest then it will be harder.

For me, it's more important to keep Morata. Pogba hasn't impressed this season and getting 100m from his sale means we could offer Morata more money to convince him to stay.

If we can manage to keep Pogba then great but don't expect many impact signings. One for sure but not more than 2. We really need a player than can connect the dots from midfield to the strikers because that is what's missing IMO. I said the other day, if we can sell Pogba to PSG we should get Verratti in return plus money. I'd do that without thinking twice.

If the Board wants this club to be in the top 3-4 next year then its time to stop the penny pinching (looking at you Marotta). ESPECIALLY if we shop in Germay. Meet their demands or don't waste anyone's time.

Mhytaryan would be the obvius answer. He is on his last year of his contract and he is not super young anymore. Plus he has Raiola as hes agent. At this point in time he is much more ready to become our starting AM.
why would he leave Dortmund though. i read hes happy there

Mkhitirian - Its bound to happen
why?

which players are those? :shifty:

also, about those "additional 20-30m we lost out on in the CL"

Dude we won't get that much less compared to last cl run.
Thx to italian tv money (750m/3 years champions league run). we will get around 80m from tv deals + tickets sold for home matches.
The increase of money from tvs saved our ass.
we are fine. we wont sacrifice Pogba to "improve the team" even if we did lose 20-30M on CL, why people still think that after 3 seasons i dont know. if Pogba is to be sold its because he wanted to move on and nothing suggests that at the moment apart from the usual tuttosport/calciomercato bs

- - - Updated - - -

Maybe wants a new challenge.
remember Lewandowski. they rather kept him for an extra year to make another CL push and let his contract run out than sell him for 20-30M to Bayern. it didnt help them that he rejected Reals offer either. if we were to get Mkhitaryan he would 1st have to want to leave and we would have to be his (only) preferred team. well have to wait and see if thats the case i guess

Hello Europa League
RB Licht is better
CM Lemina is far from ready
Mkhitirian is an improved Pereyra but I think we should go for someone else
Morata - I guess we will keep our attacking force as not a great one until important CL games arrive and then Morata will play like he should

We definitely need a strong striker!

i think I have the complete opposite view to you on Pogba, I wouldn't want to sell him for anything. Yes he has been inconsistent, but look at how many goals/chances he has been involved in this season. Plus he is still improving, his game vs Bayern was one of his best for us in terms of overall performance.

He can become a world player of the year, I don't see why we should sell him before he gets to that level.

Plus we talk about our commercial revenue being lower than the big teams in Europe, having a guy like Pogba who fans in all countries love would be a means to increasing this.

I know, I don't disagree. I guess I'm looking at what we could add to the team with 100m to improve in other areas as well.

Only if Lemina explodes, Hustini's lineup looks terrific.Made for Europe.

But Gundogan is impossible so you'd need to suggest a different lineup.

Don't like that formation either.
Sadly every winning team play with lot of attackers we're the only one lacking.

I'd love us playing again with 4-3-1-2 but then we'll have to bench someone in defense.
Lichsteiner is 32 soon to be 33. Sooner or later we will need to replace him. Tough THIS NOT THE DAY!

i'm making big ifs but i'd be delighted if we had this starting elven next season:

Buffon
Lichsteiner-Bonucci-Barzagli-Alex Sandro
Marchisio-Xhaka-Pogba
Oscar/Isco/Gotze
Dybala-Benzema

unrealistic but it would be awesome.
